Technology is one of the best things that has happened to this generation, yet is not left without it's own disadvantages. We enjoy alot of things today because of technology. And we will still enjoy more and more of it's benefits. It is said that there is nothing without a disadvantages. All you need to do it to check if the advantages is more than the disadvantages. If we have more advantages, the we can go with it despite it's disadvantages.
Technology is not outside what we are discussing today. Despite that we enjoy it a lot, but a lot also are suffering from its disadvantages. Don't get me wrong. I love everything that comes with technology especially the good aspect of it. It has made life easier for us. If not for technology today, I don't know what would have happened to this generation of Sharp sharp. Maybe it is also because of the technology that we are here wanting everything to be done in a haste.
I know of some families who don't have children, but technology brought IVF. It has helped some families have children today. Some of our grandfathers who did not experience this kind of technology died without having children to their names. But today the story has changed. As long as you have the money to pay, you can have your child anywhere today.
The same here when we talk about farming. Technology has made farming easier. I remember years back when our young men don't want to go into farming because of the suffering attached to it. But today because of technology alot of them have gone back to farming because as long as the money of there with all the tractors available, you can have your farm work done in hours. This is what will Normally take weeks to complete, but today technology has made it easy. I know it has its side effects. Let's have a brief look at the side effects of this technology.
In farming today almost everything planted is done with the help of fertilizer. In those days our parents don't use fertilizer and they lived a very long life and healthy too. But what do we have today? Sicknesses all over. People around the world fail sick everyday just because of what we eat day in day out. So, in summary, the use of technology today has brought more sicknesses than we use to have before. Another thing that the use of technology has done is to make our students very very lazy. No child wants to go on research again. They just want to google a d get the answer. Before I know how we suffer to get answers while reading our text books. But today we just go the net and get the answer, write down and submit, case close. What happened to the knowledge we need to acquire while reading? We don't care anymore. This is one of the bad side of this technology. We love it that we can just fly up in the sky, travel to a far country in some hours. What about the crash that we hear of here and there?
In summary, we can't throw away all the good things that comes with the technology that we enjoy today. All we need to do it to be more careful while using it. We need to consider the damages it can cause if we use it wrongly. And I believe that it will go a long way to help.
