Family needs to stick together no matter what the situation is things are. God decided to bless us with each other so that at any point anyone is incapable of doing something for his or herself we can help out. I believe that this is the main reason for family. Togetherness. Love. Compassion. Care. Patience. Endurance. Long suffering, and what have you.
Friends I believe that you are enjoying this topic for today. I see this topic as a reminder for me to know what responsible awaits me. My parents have done their best in taking good care of me when I was a child. I did all manner of bad things. Messed up everything for them. Caused heart break at some instance. Brought shame on them. Made them pay for things they never wished to pay for. Made them stand for me and defended me even when I was wrong in the presence of a visitor. Sometimes told lie just to save me from shame. Entered into places the don't know just because of me. What more can I say? The are too many things to list here and time will not allow me talk about so many things that I did bad when I was small and yet my parents did not take me to a motherless home because of my troubles. The allow all of those knowing that one day I will grow up and bring them joy.
Friends, for me this is pay back time. Hahaha 😂😂. Hope you are not laughing as well? It is actually time for me to prove to them that I appreciate all the good things that they have done for me. I don't need to take them to home care maybe because I claim to be very busy now. No. I can't do that. If I need any one to take care of them because of my work or because of a sickness, then it has to be under my roof. I need to watch them do it properly and also contribute by given a helping hands when need be. I don't think that I can have that kind of heart to send them away now that I know what they have gone through to bring me up. Nothing of such will happen.
ONE GOOD TURN DESERVES ANOTHER.
What you do to your parents today, remember that your children are coming up if you have any now. If you don't have, remember that you will have children some day and you will love to be taken care of by your children when you get old. So, what you do today has a way of reproducing itself even when we did not plan it. Do to your parents today what your children will do to you tomorrow when you get old.
In conclusion, I want us to know that just as it is the duty of parents to take care of their children weather stubborn or obedient ones, so it is the responsibilities of children to take very good care of their old parents sick or healthy.
