Politics is not a game for the weak, it entails being strong-hearted and resilient. I believe politics is a game of power and influence. In a country like Nigeria, Most people refer to politics as a dirty game due to past incidents.
It has always been a thug of the wall when two mighty politicians are competing for the same post. Many have lost lives and properties as a result of the desperation of politicians to attain a post. They never care about the masses, but their concerns have been majorly on how they will attain a governmental position by all means without considering what it takes.
Politics in Nigeria is not encouraging, Politician attains a position just to satisfy their own personal interest while the masses are suffering. A lot of promises are been made at various campaign sessions but once they become elected they forget does promises and make lives harder for the masses.
Currently, the inflation rate in Nigeria is getting out of hand while the minimum wage of a worker per month is around $30 dollars, how do you expect the masses to survive with such an amount? That's why we need a change in our leadership structure.
If I have the opportunity to be a politician and contest for a powerful post like being the President of my country, I won't reject such an offer, I will joyfully accept it because I believe it's a way of making a change in the political system in my country.
I won't allow my gender as a female to limit me from contesting for a powerful post rather I will use my tenacity and skillfulness to attain such a position. Rather than play a dirty game and maneuver people in attaining a position, I will use the heart of integrity and commitment to win the citizens over to my advantage.
My passion for saving the masses from hardship and poverty is the drive. Irrespective of the challenges that come my way I would never step down. My country needs a change, the country needs someone to act differently. I believe such change can come when I accept such challenge to contest for such a position. Even though I know this will not come on a platter of Gold I'm ready to make the difference. Enough of the shielding of blood and killing of innocent people, it's an avenue to rise up and fight for my people.
The passion and the zeal to make my country better will consume me and won't allow me to deviate from making a change and becoming a good leader. I have witnessed how many masses have gone through hardship all because of a poor governance system. The politicians becoming richer day by day while the masses continue getting poorer, how long will this continue? Our country needs a passionate begin like me to make the change. We can't keep hiding and suffering like this. It takes being resilience to take up this challenge and I'm ready to give it my all to take up the position and I would never step down if I'm given the opportunity to contest for a powerful post. I believe it's an avenue to make a change and be the change the people desire.
