Hello everyone
I hope you all are doing fine. So, we are into 2k25 and time seemed like flying, i remember the incidents of January 2024 like they just happened and see now we are in 2025. I think we are getting busier that we aren't actually realising the time pass and then complaining about not feeling how actually the time passed. Same is the case with me on hive, it was yesterday when i noticed the Hive recap by @hiveio and ran to check my 2k24 recap.
To be very honest, i had mixed feelings after looking at my hive recap of 2024. I was a little disappointed as my performance in publishing posts was less as compared to my starting days, i was regular in 2023 but then university life surrounded me and i got a little busier, affecting my regular post publishing habit. I literally started to miss days and there have been larger gaps, i realized and tried to cover it in the end of 2024 that's why the number increased to 169 otherwise it might have been near to 100.
The good thing, which made me happy too was my engagement with the hive community. I had around 4500+ comments in the whole year, if we divide it by 12 and then by 30 it gives us a total of 15 comments a day approximately. Not a bad performance, right? I am actually a curator in different services which makes me explore different posts, that's why my engagement increased, hehe.
Looking at the communities, i was active in three communities, Hive Learners, mainly because of their weekly prompts and the amazing Creative Sunday. After that there were gaming photography and hive gaming, which makes sense as i am really active into gaming.
Now, if we talk about 2025, i have some goals and ideas about hive. I remember when i was at the end of 2023, i had around 600hp in my account, which i promised to increase to somewhere around 2000, i successfully completed the task, and i might have increased it way more than that if was regular in publishing posts. My this year goal about my HP is to increase it to 4000-5000hp. I am pretty sure i will be achieving this goal.
Also i have to make some changes into my schedule, in order to increase my published posts number on that recap card. I have noticed that it takes around 40-45 minutes to write a post so it is never difficult if you really want to write on hive. One can easily spare an hour from his 24 hours to write a post and it's not some rocket science.
If we talk about my engagement, i am pretty good at that already, i will be trying to increase it if possible otherwise it is good where it is already. I explore around 100 different posts a day because i have to give ecency votes on the deserving ones. That's why i don't think if i will be bad at engagement ever again. But who knows, hehe.
That was my 2024 recap and some new goals for my year 2025, i am sure you people will enjoy reading about them, if not, it is ok too, lol.
