Although I'm no longer the youngest, I try to learn and study as much as possible. Even for my current job, where I work in sales and management. Yes, there's always something new here too, especially due to globalisation, where many cultures are mixing.
I'm also a guest speaker at a few universities a couple of times a year. Nothing special, just a few lessons on operational sales management and how to improve a sales structure. But I attend a lot of courses to educate myself. There are a lot of innovations on the market, new tools and different ways to do things better.
My parents and grandparents were academics, even some of my great-grandparents, where one great-grandfather attended the Officers' Academy in Vienna and another the Technical University in Budapest, over 100 years ago. This tradition has been passed down in the family and all my cousins have a university degree. And they are all constantly attending courses to further their education.
Of course, it depends on what you study and what you do. If you have studied medicine, you have to continue your education throughout your life, because there is always something new, either new perspectives on a disease or new healing methods.
From my point of view, we humans have to constantly learn and develop. New generations are coming along who learn much faster and start with a good level of knowledge.

Obwohl ich nicht mehr der Jüngste bin, versuche ich, so viel wie möglich zu lernen und zu studieren. Auch für meinen jetzigen Beruf, wo ich im Verkauf und Management tätig bin. Ja, auch hier gibt es immer etwas Neues, vor allem durch die Globalisierung, wo sich viele Kulturen vermischen.
Ich bin auch ein paar Mal im Jahr als Gastredner an ein paar Universitäten unterwegs. Nichts Besonderes, nur ein paar Stunden über operatives Vertriebsmanagement und wie man eine Vertriebsstruktur verbessert. Aber ich besuche viele Kurse, um mich weiterzubilden. Es gibt viele Innovationen auf dem Markt, neue Tools und verschiedene Wege, wie man etwas besser machen kann.
Meine Eltern und Großeltern waren Akademiker, sogar ein Teil meiner Urgroßeltern, wo ein Urgroßvater die Offiziersakademie in Wien und ein anderer die Technische Universität in Budapest besucht hat, und das vor über 100 Jahren. Diese Tradition wurde in der Familie weitergegeben und alle meine Cousins haben einen Universitätsabschluss. Und alle besuchen ständig Kurse, um sich weiterzubilden.
Natürlich kommt es auf das Studium an und darauf, was man macht. Wenn man Medizin studiert hat, muss man sich sein Leben lang weiterbilden, denn es gibt immer etwas Neues, entweder neue Sichtweisen auf eine Krankheit oder neue Heilmethoden.
Aus meiner Sicht müssen wir Menschen ständig lernen und uns weiterentwickeln. Es kommen neue Generationen, die viel schneller lernen und schon mit einem guten Wissensstand starten.
