Hello Hive Learners Community! Welcome to my blog. I'm a person who always likes to do something crazy. I don't like to spend my time in boredom. Whenever I get some relief from my busy life, I like to do something creative. Nowadays, fighting boredom is not as hard as it was in the 18th century. There are many things we can do and save ourselves from feeling bored.
Whatever the situation is or whatever we are facing, there happens a time when we feel bored. To tackle this situation, different people like to do different things in the offline and online world and sort out this mental problem.
Last Internet Deadlock
Last year, during the lockdown as well as the Global Network problems, all my social activities were cut off. Believe me, this time was very tough in my life. It was challenging for me to accept my online world is not with me. I was feeling not only bored but also feeling alone. My mother advised me to do something in practical life; otherwise, I would be a maid in this alone room. I shortlisted what I like the most in practical life. Although it was tough for me to land from an active online world to an inactive offline world, I did successfully and chose the following things as a reliever to fight my boredom.
1. Gardening
When there is nothing to do, I love to do Gardening. I like to trim plants, am happy to plant water, and love to smell flowers. Sometimes, I spend my time in mental meditation in my garden.
2. Cooking
When everything online is switched off and I have some free hours from my busy real estate job, cooking is my best offline activity. I have now got wonderful skills in cooking Biryani. I love to spend my extra hour on this activity.
3. Creative Writing
To fight with boredom, it is the last thing I love to do. I make outlines for writing articles on different things. I try to add some fun that will help me in crafting memes. Moreover, I'm an IT Graduate; I love to read data processing books and take notes on software design. I like to make flowcharts and Sticky notes about them.
It has been years since these things helped me to control boredom. These are some of the best activities in the offline world.
Final Thoughts
Boredom is very toxic to mental health. It is easy for negativity to attack a bored person. Hence, it is good if we know very well how to fight and tackle boredom. Do something creative or something crazy for mental peace. Free time is a blessing, and we can make it productive by doing some wonderful activities. It is good to take a rest in your free time but sleeping can also make you bored. Avoid doing things that are devoid of your mental crafts. I love Cooking, Gardening, and Creative Writing if I'm alone. These activities act as the best dose to sort out problems of boredom.
