The Ultimate Search

Movies and TV shows are my biggest source of entertainment and sometimes energy boosters. I am one of those people who really loves movies from a very young age and I use to take my time to watch them when I don't have a novel to read or I am just tired of reading. I enjoyed these activities when I was younger but not anymore.

I use to follow all the drama series on TV then like Super Story, This Life, Everyday People, Family Cycle, Papa Ajasco, Binta and Friends, and the likes. Some were about serious lessons of life, some were comedy, and so on, but in all, after every episode, you have something very cogent to think about as the lesson you have learnt that day. The movies always have lessons to be learnt then but these days, I can't really say.

Some of the shows that I loved to watch them were; Gulder Ultimate Search, Who Wants to be a Millionaire, Project Fame, Nigerian Idol and the likes. I and everyone in our house then will watch ultimate search and who wants to be a millionaire together, holding a book and a pen writing out the questions of who wants to be a millionaire and the answers. We would guess the answers then because those questions do usually sound really strange and we get angry when the person on the hot set do not take the right decision.

The most favorite for me then was Gulder ultimate search. Gosh! I loved that show and always pay keen interest when it's going on as if my life depended on it. It was a show sponsored by the makers of Gulder. It was a show about adventures that involves a group of people from different parts of the country, competing to find a treasure.

The first series was set in snake island in Apapa, Lagos Nigeria. It takes about three weeks or more. The aim is to search for a hidden treasure. Some of the activities involved include; hide and seek games with blindfolds, puzzles, creative arts, cooking competition, fitness exercise, tug of war, jungle combat, and so many others.

The Gulder Ultimate search made me realize a lot of things about life, the training and task involved helps one to develop survival skills in life based on some of the trainings in the show and how to beat and conquer some task. It teaches one to become more adaptable or flexible over time, in time of troubles it helps one to be confident and also to make informed decisions. It teaches a lot of lessons about self defense, and one would develop problem solving skills, mental alertness, and leadership skill.

I never get enough of the show and I really felt bad when the show stopped due to reasons not known to viewers.

I didn't watch Gulder ultimate search for long before it stopped showing on TV, but I enjoyed it. The times I did. And it's one show I've never heard anyone give a bad review on.
I remember sometime back when people online were saying that the show should be resumed. An interesting, educational program.

The show was a really nice one.
A lot of people loved it then.
I really don't know why they stopped but I wish something like that can come up again.

In the same way, after watching dramas and movies, our mind relaxes and it is also a fact that from some dramas and movies we get many special life lessons due to which we also apply them in our life. They don't make mistakes.

That is true.
