The mobile phone is one of the greatest inventions of modern science. Mobile is like a minicomputer that we can carry with us anytime anywhere. We can do a lot of things on a mobile phone. There are a lot of benefits available in a mobile phone, and we can easily carry our mobile phone with us. That is why we prefer mobile phones over computers. But there are some tasks that can only be done on a computer. A mobile phone can connect us with anyone in the whole world. We can also make new friends around the globe. We can talk with anyone in this world if we have a mobile phone.
Anyways, we do not need to travel anywhere; we can just talk with everyone on a phone call. Not just that, we can play games, watch movies, and watch web series; we can solve many mathematical terms; we can know about the weather forecast; and there is a lot more that we can do with mobile phones. The Internet is something that helps us explore many things on our mobile phones. If we have an internet connection on our mobile phone, we can learn about the world.
Then with the help of the internet, we can search anything on Google. Google has trillions of pieces of information about this world. We can just learn everything for free if we have an internet connection on our mobiles. That is the reason mobile phones are very important for us. Most people own one mobile phone. Some also have more than one. Some people work from home with the help of a mobile phone.
We can earn a lot of money just by working on our mobile phones. However, mobile phones still have some drawbacks. Nowadays, everyone is getting addicted to mobile phones. It is becoming a worldwide problem. Most kids are getting addicted to mobile phones. Which can cause many problems. Kids won't go out to play on the ground; they won't socialise with anyone.
They will be using mobile phones even during family times. Which is not okay at all. My thoughts are that mobile phones should be banned during family time. Because our family is the most precious thing to us. No other thing can be compared to family. But we can't put anything before family time. But kids nowadays seem to not understand the importance of family time. They are so addicted that they keep using their phones, even when there is a family get-together. They don't talk with anyone and stay on their phones. My little brother is also like that. He is addicted to his mobile phone.
Last month, we had a family get-together where my cousins, uncle, and auntie joined us for dinner. My cousin and I had a lot of fun while playing and talking. But my brother was on his phone the whole time. He didn't even talk with anyone properly. They came at 8, and when it was 10, my mother prepared everything for the dinner, and we were all at the table. But my little brother was still on his phone in his room. I called him twice, but he didn't join us. So we had to start dinner without him. We all spent quality time together. We talked about how we grew up together, how we used to play all the time when we were kids, and how our bonding became strong. My cousin and I always used to play on the ground when we were kids. It felt like our bonding became even stronger while we remembered our past.
But my little brother was never like us. He was always on his phone. Which is why he couldn't ever make strong bonds with family members. It's not just about cousins. We all have to make strong bonds with our parents and siblings too. And to do that, we need to spend more time with them. Like on the dinner table when we all sit together and have quality time. We get to know each other's daily lives on the dinner table. We can talk about our pain and our happiness at the dinner table, which we aren't able to do on other occasions. That is how our bonding can be strong. So we have to put our phones aside when we're at the dinner table with our family or at a family get-together.
So, we will be able to make some good memories, which we can cherish forever. I have decided to make my brother aware of this, and if I don't in the future, he will have to struggle a lot with people. He will also regret his past, as he wouldn't be able to make good memories with his family if he's always on his phone. We all should realise this before it's too late.
