We are finally wrapping up a journey we started a month ago and I'll say we are wrapping up nicely as we are currently in week 7. If nobody will praise me, I will praise myself and like we say in my country Nigeria, I DUN TRY.
As much as I want to exercise my bragging rights and say I CAME, I SAW AND I CONQUERED, I'll save it for the final week. I hope we do get a certificate afterwards as graduands of the NEWBIES INITIATIVE.
So lets get right on the Task for week 6
It should be worthy to note that the week 6 task extended to week 7.
THE THEME FOR WEEK 6: HIVE EFFICIENCY TOOLS.
QUESTION 1
List out tools that you know that can be used to track and monitor information about your Hive account. Tell us about them and what they are used for.
HIVEBUZZ : The first time I got an engagement from hivebuzz, I was elated. As soon as I received the notification, I rushed and called my onboarder like a village girl in the big city that saw something fascinating.
I told her with so much enthusiasm that someone commented on my post and she asked who, I checked for name confirmation and told her hivebuzz... Ohh this girl laughed at me.
Was I embarrassed? A little, but then knowing that I already do not have preexisting knowledge of hive and I'm not supposed to know who hivebuzz is, the whole embarrassment I felt vanished. After having a good life at the expense of my self esteem, Aunty onboarder proceeded to explaining who or what hivebuzz is all about. ButI like to refer to it as Buzzy.
So what does Buzzy do?
Buzzy is an hive progress tracker and it's function is automatic. It gives hive users information on the badges received.
These badges are issued on every milestone achieved. It tells the user the amount of comments made/received, upvotes received/distributed, quantity of HP received in payouts plus the number of posts written on the platform.
After reaching a milestone, there is Buzzy always buzzing to alert us on the next milestone to reach.
HIVE STATS
This is a website showing detailed information on the analytics and statistics of user accounts. Some of its function include; tracking rewards, posts, comments, votes and the overall performance hive users account.
We also have Hivetasks, but it is designed for more complex trackings.
QUESTION TWO
Check out your profile information on Hivestats and explain the different stats shown about your account on the site.
Below are screenshots on how to access the Hivestats and also a detailed explanation.
a. Effective HP (Hive Power) and Hive Power: This is the voting weight of an Hive account. It is also the measure of an hive account influence on the blockchain. It should be worthy to note that the higher the Hive Power, the stronger and more weight the user's vote carries.
b.Received and Sent delegation: Delegation on hive is where by a user sends out a portion of their HP to another hive user for a limited number of time. Please note that the delegated HP remains the property of the sender and can be retrieved by the sender at any time.
From my stats, it shows that currently, there's no HP delegated to my account and I also did not delegate to anyone hence the number 0.
c. Powerdown amount: This is the amount of HP converted back into hive. My powered down stats is 0 because I haven't engage in such exercise.
d. The Post stat showing 3224, is the combination of comments and actual posts that has been made by me so far on hive.
e. Vote value is the monetary weight of my vote in HBD.
f. The Follower stats represents the hive users following me.
g. Following stats represents those I'm following
h. Reputation stats and Resource credits stats represents my account's integrity and the limitations of my hive activities which including voting, commenting and posting.
QUESTION THREE
Find the lazy-panda curation trail and follow it. Customise the trail according to weight, method, and wait time as desired. If you choose, enable the trail and share screenshots on the process.
To find and customise the Lazy trail, first go to hive.vote and log in with your Hivesigner account.
Next is a prompt to enable the hivesigner access to your account, if you would want to go through with the process, go ahead and join, otherwise leave.
I joined hence the follow up screenshots.
• After logging into hive.vote, on the menu option, follow the steps and select curation trail.
• Search for the lazy panda trail you want to follow.
• Follow the trail, then select the settings option to customize according to weight, method, and weight of vote. Click the enable box.
QUESTION 3
Configure and set up F.R.I.D.A.Y. to give you notifications. Provide a step-by-step explanation with screenshots.
The function of F.R.I.D.A.Y. is to give notifications to the user on any activity done on the user's account, both on the discord channel and the Hive blockchain.

First join their discord channel here
Then, input the command /register and input your username in any of the channels.

My Partner of the week.
My partner of the week is @niranaway
His name is Adeniran Oshin
His/Her hubbies? I don't know
Did we have any fun activities all through the week? No! We did not.
Ok! So I have been waiting for this opportunity to drag my partner like I better pass my neighbour generator. But then on a second thought, what if he's going through a lot and I am the toxic partner who failed to reach out??
But then, does who go through alot attend hangouts??
Like since we got paired, me and my partner will see each other on hivelearners hangout every Mondays and some Wednesdays.
We will act like all is well, then after the hangout everybody go face front as we all go about our individual lives.
The first day we got paired, he was the one that rushed to send me a message on discord informing me of the exercise. I sent a vn to him afterwards and mapped out some fun activities for the both of us.
Later that night I sent another vn, informing him that we should go through eachothers profile and support each others work.
Then, I noticed he was following my lead. I followed him, he followed back, I upvoted his post, he upvoted mine.
Thinking the exercise will continue tomorrow from his end, baba lock up. I got no notification from him and till today all what we planned on the first day ended up as mere words.
I sha noticed he has not been online lately so to fulfill all righteousness, because I don't want to be the uncaring one, I will text him tomorrow.
