Freedom of speech is the right to seek, receive and impart information and ideas of all kinds, by any means. I will define freedom of speech in my own way as having access to share your ideas with your leaders and speak out your mind. Actually this topic remind me of an occurrence that happened on the 10th of October 2021 last year. It was really a bad and unforgettable situation whereby the youths came out to protest and speak out their minds to stop SARS from arresting and hurting the youth.
In Nigeria here, civilization even for the fact that we have this freedom of speech, we can see a lot of people have died because they of they speak their mind out or tell the truth. Yes truly we are entitled to freedom of speech but you must have limit to the words and stuffs we say. Whenever you want to talk you must think deeply and find something reasonable to say, that won't be as an insult to the leaders. The occurrence that happened last year, a lot died during the process of protesting and saying the truth, people who are to protect us now turn to our enemy all because the truth was said.

All I will say we are not entitled to speak out our mind, because they have put in the fear in us which is not suppose to be so. That night, when the youth went out to protest for EndSars, well I don't know and no one knows who ordered them to start shooting because the youth did not stop protesting. A lot of youth died and some were injured all and we are still going to say we have the freedom of speech.
Freedom of speech has really affected the citizens of Nigeria, even now that we are about to vote again with the way of our leaders have promised us a lot of things. Till now they haven't fulfilled most of them when we voted for them last time, but there is nothing we can do to it, no one can confront them. People at the top are the only one entitled to talk is people are the top that are entitled to talk.
