FREEDOM: Freedom is such a wonderful thing no wonder some people value and celebrate when it's been given to them. Freedom is only entitled to those who have proven to do things excellently alone and have earned the trust of their superior but don't get deceived, even after you've been given the freedom you're not entirely free, why because you're not perfect and you're superior will still be around to reduce the amount damage you'll cause when mistakes are made. Now let's reflect on ourselves, can we still say we're entirely free? or when we are totally free can we say it's too much freedom?, what are the risks? these are the questions I would be explaining in the section below.
What does it mean to have too much Freedom
The term of "too much" reflects the maximum amount of restriction or obstruction one can experience, which is figuratively comparable to infinity. However, "too much freedom" is also a relative concept that varies depending on various cultural, social, and legal settings. But when someone or a group is given too much freedom, they are generally allowed to act without any restrictions or limitations, which can have unfavorable effects on them or others.
- Can we say we have freedom
One may have been given freedom but not totally, in one way or another other one is dependent on someone which eliminate the who idea of freedom but not entirely, what I'm trying to say is even if you're given freedom it's sparingly even though you were not given limitations, you'll have limitations.
Risks of Too Much Freedom
In conclusion, while freedom is a vital human right, having too much freedom can have detrimental implications for both individuals and society as a whole. So here are the risk of too much freedom;
- Imagine a society without rules or limitations, the level of imbalance would be so high that there might be chaos in the society, and everybody will have their own rules and can do anything without restriction, you guess right, it will be a disaster.
- Unbearable Mistake: In a case where a child has no limitation to what he can and cannot do, there's a high possibility that he ends up wayward and would be dues to lack parental care and too much freedom
- Imagine an intern who gets an opportunity to become a regular employee in a company, even with all his knowledge about the company he will still be under the tutelage of someone who will still guild him to things he needs to know and too much free will result to Poor performance and frustration.
- in personal relationships, having too much freedom can lead to irresponsibility and a lack of accountability. For example, a partner who has too much freedom in a relationship may cheat, lie, or neglect their responsibilities, leading to emotional pain and harm for the other partner.
