Some of the work I've done makes me very happy, and I can say that I shouldn't even call it work, because for me it doesn't have the weight and tiring that my own work (and I think the work of all of you) has. Let's try to list some things to see what we can do to help others!
It's very likely that we, Hiveans, have some kind of ease with the digital world. Well, not with all sectors, but I do have some ease with hardware and networks. This is very good for helping with routine problems for home users who need adjustments to their machines.
I've been doing this for a long time.
It works like this: people who know me come to me with a problem with their machine, be it a desktop or laptop, and I diagnose what might be causing the problem. Most of the time it's a software problem, so I clean it or format it and reinstall the operating system. This in itself provides relief for the processor and a noticeable speed gain, so to speak.
I don't charge anything for this, nor do I even consider receiving anything in return.
But sometimes we have physical problems, and that's where the main issue comes in, which involves donating the remains of the damaged equipment. They are dismantled, and the usable parts are stored in my private stock. With these parts in hand, I can make repairs.

A routine situation is the installation of memories, which are currently available in the most diverse models. I have many types of memory sticks available and whenever I receive a piece of equipment with an empty slot, I check to see if I have something compatible to add, for free.
So I became a kind of donation bank, where one person leaves something with me and I pass it on to another, without anyone knowing about the other. On my part, I take care of the service and logistics.
Since I volunteered for this task, I have helped dozens of people, including friends and strangers, and I have tried to do the best I could for everyone, including providing guidance on their machines, the possibility of upgrades and their possible survival. Nowadays, it is very easy to achieve a performance gain by simply replacing a HDD with an SSD.
I have a large number of HDDs removed from inoperative laptops, for which I have performed disk speed tests. I have classified them all and am waiting for them. I may not use them, since nowadays it is very worthwhile to acquire an SSD. However, they are available for donation.
Personally, today I also have a new SSD available, which I have on hand for any unforeseen problems with my machines, or even for a quick installation in an emergency event that a friend needs, in which case I would ask for it to be replaced.
Well, this is what I do as one of my volunteer activities, because as I said, I also do others in the digital world, here at Hive! I will tell you about it another day!

Faz um certo tempo que mantenho minhas habilidades disponíveis para quem precisa, sempre que posso. Tenho feito isso tanto do ponto de vista físico, com trabalho braçal, como também no mental, com ajuda em educação, e por último no digital. Não importa o lugar, o que vale mesmo é ajudar o seu entorno, pois penso que assim conseguimos transformar o mundo ao nosso redor.

Alguns trabalhos que tenho feito me deixam muito satisfeito, e posso dizer que nem deveria chamar de trabalho, pois para mim não tem o peso e o cansaço que o meu próprio trabalho (e eu acho que o trabalho de todos vocês) tem. Vamos tentar listar algumas coisas para ver o que podemos fazer para ajudar os outros!
É muito provável que nós, Hiveans, tenhamos algum tipo de facilidade com o mundo digital. Bom, não com todos os setores, mas sim eu tenho alguma facilidade na parte de hardware e redes. Isso é muito bom para ajudar com problemas de rotina em usuários domésticos que precisam de ajustes em suas máquinas.
Tenho feito isso a muito tempo.
Funciona assim: quem me conhece vem até mim com algum problema em sua máquina, seja desktop ou laptop, e eu faço um diagnóstico do que pode ser a causa do problema. A maioria das vezes é problema de software, então realizo uma limpeza ou uma formatação e reinstalação do sistema operacional. Isso por si só já garante um alívio para o processador e é perceptível um ganho de velocidade, assim digamos.
Não cobro nada por isso, nem se quer cogito receber nada em troca.
Mas algumas vezes temos problemas físicos e ai entra a principal questão, que envolve a doação dos restos mortais dos equipamentos avariados. Eles são desmontados, e as partes aproveitáveis são guardadas em meu estoque particular. De posse dessas partes, posso fazer reparos.

Uma situação de rotina é a instalação de memórias, que atualmente estão disponíveis nos mais diversos modelos. Tenho muitos tipos de pentes de memória disponíveis e sempre que recebo algum equipamento com slot vago, verifico se tenho algo compatível para adicionar, de forma gratuita.
Então eu virei uma espécie de banco de doação, onde uma pessoa deixa comigo e eu vou repassando pra outra, sem quem um saiba do outro. De minha parte, fica o serviço e a logística.
Desde que me voluntariei para esta tarefa já atendi dezenas de pessoas, entre amigos e estranhos, e procurei fazer para todos o melhor possível, inclusive com orientação a respeito das suas máquinas, da possibilidade de upgrade e eventual sobrevida, hoje em dia é muito fácil conseguir um ganho de desempenho realizando uma simples troca de disco rígido HD por um disco de estado sólido SSD.
Tenho uma grande quantidade de HDs removidos de laptops inoperantes, para os quais eu realizei teste de velocidade de disco. Classifiquei todos e estou com eles na espera, talvez não chegue a usar, pois hoje em dia vale muito a pena adquirir um SSD. Mas estão disponíveis para doação.
Particularmente, no dia de hoje eu tenho disponível também um SSD novo, que tenho a disposição para qualquer imprevisto com minhas máquinas, ou mesmo para instalação rápida em algum evento de urgência que algum amigo precise, e neste caso eu pediria que fosse reposto.
Bom é isso que eu faço como uma das minhas atividades voluntárias, pois como eu bem disse, realizo outras até mesmo no mundo digital, aqui na Hive! Outro dia eu conto!
