Dieting or exercise, which one works better?
For me I would say both but I were to advise someone I will definitely tell them to do what works best for them, its definitely not easy go through dieting or exercising everyday, but if one must stay in shape then you must definitely pass through the process of “no pain no gain”.
I came across my friends page of social media, I lost saw some years back and she added a lot, like a lot.. seeing her on social media got me so shocked because she had lost all the weight she added, infact her page name was tagged with ( the pcos girl) she was so big at the top, according to her and from what I saw her on page she engaged in both dieting and exercise, she registered for gyming sessions and also paid to get real dieting meals information too. And now, on seeing her from her social media page, she was back in shape!
She went from having this big body at the top to an equal size, she now looks like that perfectly girly, honestly I taught I was the only that noticed her changes, untill another friend of my called me and was telling about how the girl in particular had reduced and we were so happy for her.
I also have a friend of mine who is guy, he has this big body and big stomach, he told me that it actually dawned on him to start taking the pains of dieting and exercise because there was time he bought a very expensive shirt online and when it arrived it didn’t size his body, he had to dash it out to his cousin, so from then on he stopped eating his favorites junk foods, like burger, bread etc. He changed his swallow from garri to wheat swallow, he started jugging from his estate to the main express road and back to his house, the last time I saw him though he had reduced alot, I couldn’t even believe my eyes.

Honestly dieting and exercise goes hand in hand, because I feel after eating alot of junk and fatty foods then going to do exercise wouldn’t be effective like the way it is supposed to be, And infact eating healthy food and balancing our diets is way more effective than only exercising, eating junks and fatty food and exercise is actually a waste of time to me, how ever exercise has many other benefits and it also play an important role in lose weight when it is done appropriately.
Now sometimes dieting can be a problem because many people seem to go about it the wrong way, instead of them to talk to professionals and book sesssions, they just do what they like, some even go as far as skipping meals on a daily basis, just like my sisters friend just because she wants to go dieting and her husband is doctor, she keeps skipping meals and also as ulcer, whenever the ulcer pains comes, her husband just gives her ulcer drugs which isn’t really healthy. And to me if someone should exercise because of staying in shape and not to be healthy then the person is definitely slipping into a toxic fitness.
