If I literally have the opportunity to by a car, and I know that It wouldn't shake my at that point, why not? I'm definitely going to get it. But then, for me to get a car, I will ensure I have more than enough to take good car of it.
Because what people don't seem to understand in most cases is that, buying a car is not the problem in most cases. The problem many face is how to maintain them. Many people just get a car without thinking about how they are going to maintain.
I had a friend then that hit a jackpot of a money he never planned for, and he has been talking about him getting car for a while now. So when the money came, he used literally almost everything in purchasing a car. This guy didn't even think of the money he will be needing to maintain it and all of that.
Not like the guy was using it for business or anything but he got it because he wanted to be a big boy. Which if you ask me, was a senseless step to take. Why purchase a car, and ask people who don't even have an idea of how it came to life for money for fuel and all of that.
It is so heartbreaking and annoying. I was trying to tell him then, but he saw me like an enemy of progress. He barely even used the car for 4 months before he sold it out. I was more annoying when I got to know how much he sold it for. It was over half of the money he used in purchasing it.
For him, if you ask me, I will say it was a liability for him. Because not like he was using it for an Uber or something that fetches him money. He was only doing it to be a big boy which was something crazy. I will rather not buy a thing to impress the public and afterwards suffer for my actions in private.
The same people that gingered him when he wanted to purchase it were the same people that mocked him after he sold it out. The so called people he was trying to impress. I was so disappointed in him. It was even more crazier because where he resides had a way of affecting his car because of the bad road.
The car started looking so unkept because he wasn't financially stable to take care of the car and that was why it was sold out in a low price. If It was left to me I wouldn't have gotten the car because I wasn't financially stable and I know it'll definitely have a way of sucking me so badly whenever a problem shows up.
