Hi everyone! Welcome to another edition of the Weekly Featured Contents. Week 118:- Edition 02:-.
With the theme titled "Cash Reward For Academic Brilliance".
It's a really amazing topic to jump on because it's something that many of us would have experienced in our upbringing as kids or even at this present point in our lives.
Should there be a cash reward for academic brilliance?
If you ask me, I will say there really should be cash rewards for academic brilliance for everyone, regardless of their level, to help encourage others to want to do more.
Because I remember very well how
It was always looking like a competition for me and my friends back then in my primary school days.
Because at the end of the day, everyone wants his or her name to be called on the prize-giving day in school to come up stage to receive prizes. So yes, I support the motion to give out cash prizes as rewards for academic brilliance.
Every time a student comes out on top in his or her class, should they be given some monetary reward?
From my own past experiences in school, I'd say they should be given some monetary reward.
My school was a private school, and fortunately for us all then, the owner of our school turned out to be the father of the governor of our state, and he was also a very wealthy man on his own.
So if you get to perform well in school, they always give cash prizes out aside from the rewards you get from the school.
It was always very lovely. Everyone loves to be called up for a good thing in life, so everyone was always pushing hard to be a part of the people receiving cash rewards.
Will this be a good thing in the long run? Or will it be a bad thing? What would you prefer to be done?
Yes, from my own point of view and from my own past experiences. It should be possible for everyone to work hard to get lots of prizes at the end of the day.
And it's not like you are only going to get lots of amazing prizes at the end of the day alone; you also get the opportunity to shake hands with the governor of the state, and other bigger men in the country also take pictures with them, and not only that, they also get familiar with your name again.
And you know what it really means, then. Because getting to shake hands with someone you see on television and in the newspaper 😂. You might end up framing your hands at the end of the day😂.
So it really should serve as a big motivation to everyone to work their ass out to get all of that. I personally believe that if you're a serious person, there shouldn't be room for laziness.
In Conclusion:
I hope that with my little point of view here, I'm being able to convince and not confuse you that it will only be a great motivation for students to work harder if they're rewarded for their academic brilliance.
Cause I remembered how I worked really hard then to get a good grade in school because of the bicycle my parents promised me that year 😂.
My first wind instrument that year (a trumpet) was gifted to me by my parents for a great performance in my academics. Because that was our only source of receiving things from them.
Thank you for taking the time to go through my content, and I hope you've learned lots of lessons from it's weekly prompt.
