Greetings to everyone and welcome to my blog once again, as I sat at my desk today, I couldn't help but feel a sense of excitement and anticipation. Today was a creative Sunday, a day I had l set aside to let my imagination run wild and to express myself through art. My creative Sunday project for the day was an artwork of a girl holding a horse, a theme that has been inspired by my love of horses and the beauty of the natural world.
The artwork depicting a girl and a horse is a beautiful and well expressed piece of art, at first glance the art appears to be a simple representation of a girl and a horse but upon closer look, it's a more complex nuanced exploration of the relationship between humans and animals. So without wasting much time here's the process involved in achieving this art.
MATERIALS
• Pencil
• eraser
• ruler.
DRAWING PROCESS
step 1
To begin, I gathered my materials and then started by sketching the horse face containing it's ears, mouth, eye's and nose
step 2
After drawing that part, I then shaded some part in the face.
step 3
As I continued with my drawing, I then began to draw the girl, I began by drawing her face and the hat which she wore.
step 4
After that, I then drew her body and shaded her hair
step 5
In this step, I then drew her hand and the jean trouser which she wore.
step 6
As I still continued with the process, I then used my pencil and drew the neck of the horse and shaded some part of it as well.
As I finished with the drawing process here's my final result.
In the end when I finished drawing, I stepped back to admire my work. The girl and the horse which seemed to come alive on the paper, their bond and connection seems palpable. This drawing not only reminds me of how much I admire horses but also shows us to allow our imagination take control of us.
