It seems that the Hive Learners team is reading the conversations in the HiveBR community. This week we were discussing how using Hive is extremely complicated, in every way, including when it comes to making comments and giving feedback to other Hivers users.
That's why it's so difficult to attract new users to Hive. Often we have a friend or acquaintance who has excellent content on WEB2 that could be put to better use on Hive or WEB3. Well, we make the invitation and when we explain how Hive works, such as that to make a quality post you need to have at least 500 words, the individual simply runs away.
Hive is so complex that to make a comment on Hive you need a long text, demonstrating to the author of the post that you have actually read it and understand its context. This is very different from what happens on WEB2, where we have short posts that keep people engaged for a few minutes, resulting in positive and natural feedback. Often, WEB2 posts are simply a few images with a short caption.
In contrast to Hive, an Instagram post with a photo of a trip to the beach gets a lot of likes and comments. But note that the post is simply a photo with a short caption, and the comments are diverse and the vast majority of them are sincere and simple reactions, such as “I liked the photo”, “What an incredible place”, “Cool”.
However, on Hive the same travel post needs to be huge and full of text describing various details. And the comments as mentioned need to be well structured and long with text indicating that the user has read the whole post. Wouldn't it be easier to simply say that you liked the images and found the post amazing in a sincere way?
At Hive we have the frontend Liketu which is very similar to instagram. The only difference is that there is no mobile app yet and the captions need to be much longer than on Instagram. Otherwise someone will complain and you might get a dowvote. But even so, it's a frontend that has caught on with the Hivers, especially those who are more used to WEB2.
A practical example of this happened with a colleague who came to Hive through an invitation from HiveBR members. She is no longer active on Hive. So I'll cite the case of @thayavlis, she used the Liketu frontend a lot, which was more like the WEB2 posts she usually makes. However, at times she was told that she needed to write a bit more.
However, when it comes to posts that add value and have information to pass on to a specific audience. I'm sure that Hive is an excellent place to share our experiences and receive feedback from other Hivers. However, I feel that long comments don't seem natural and give the impression that it's not us.
In certain situations, short comments are not welcome. At Hive we have to walk on eggshells. But everything has its good and bad sides. And for those who want to consume quality content that adds value, Hive is the right place. I just feel that we need to build a better Hive that allows people to be themselves in everything they write here!

Até parece que a equipe do Hive Learners está lendo as conversas da comunidade HiveBR. Essa semana estavamos discutindo sobre como utilizar a Hive é extremamente complicado, em todos os sentidos, inclusive quando se trata em fazer comentários e dar um feedback a outros usuários Hivers.
Por esse motivo, é tão díficil atrair novos usuários para Hive. Muitas das vezes temos um amigo ou conhecido que possui um excelente conteúdo na WEB2 e que poderia ser bem mais aproveito na Hive ou na WEB3. Pois bem, fazemos o convite e quando explicamos como funciona a Hive, como por exemplo, para fazer um post de qualidade é preciso ter no mínimo 500 palavras, o individuo simplesmente foge.
A Hive é tão complexa, que para fazer um comentário na Hive é preciso um grande texto, demonstrando para o autor do post que realmente ele foi lido e entendemos o seu contexto. Muito diferente do que acontece na WEB2, onde temos posts curtos e que conseguem prendem as pessoas por alguns minutos, o que resultam em feedback positivos e naturais. Muitas das vezes, as postagem na WEB2 são simplesmente algumas imagens contendo uma pequena legenda.
Ao contrário da Hive, uma postagem no Instagram com um fotos de uma viagem, em uma praia, rendem diversas curtidas e comentários. Mas, observem que a postagem é simplesmente uma foto com legenda curta, e os comentários são diversos e a grande maioria deles são reações sinceras e simples, como "gostei da foto", "que lugar incrível", "Legal".
Porém, na Hive um mesma postagem de viagem é preciso que seja enorme e cheia de texto descrevendo vários detalhes. E os comentários como mencionados precisam ser bem estruturados e longos com texto indicando que o usuário leu o post inteiro. Não seria mais fácil simplesmente dizer que gostou das imagens e achou incrível o post de forma sincera.
Na Hive temos o frontend Liketu que se assemelha bastante ao instagram. A única diferença é que ainda não existe um app para celular e as legenda precisa ser bem mais longas que no Instagram. Caso contrário alguém irá reclame e possivelmente você levará um dowvote. Mas, messmo assim é um frontend que caiu no gostou dos Hivers, principalmente, a galera que está mais habituada com a WEB2.
Um exemplo prático disso aconteceu com uma colega que veio para Hive, atráves de convite de membros da HiveBR. Ela atualmente, não se encontra mais na Hive de forma ativa. Por isso, citarei o caso da @thayavlis, ela utilizava bastante o frontend Liketu, que era mais parecido com as postagem na WEB2 que ela costuma fazer. Porém, em alguns momentos ela foi informada que precisava escrever um pouco mais.
Porém, quando o assunto são posts que agregam valor e tem informações, para serem passadas a um determinado publico. Tenho certeza que a Hive é um excelente lugar para compartilhar nossas experiência e receber feedbacks de outros Hivers. Mas, sinto que comentários longos não parecem naturais e dar impressão que não somos nós, é preciso pensar muito no que vai ser escrito.
Em determinadas situações comentários curtos não são bem-vindo. Na Hive temos que andar pisando em ovos. Mas, tudo tem seu lado bom e ruim. E para quem quer desejar consumir conteúdos de qualidade e que agregam valor a Hive é lugar certo. Só sinto que precisamos construir uma Hive melhor e que permita que as pessoas sejam elas mesmas, em tudo que escrevem aqui!
