Drugs Are Not Necessarily Needed To Enhance Performance In Sport

It is no longer a hidden thing that some people use drugs to enhance their performance in their respective jobs. This is something I see every day, especially those who are engaged in hard labor.

They say it makes them work without getting tired. Some of these people know very well that those drugs have great side effects but will still take them.

The issue of taking drugs to boost performance happens in every field. Truth be told, our bodies are not firewood, stress, laziness, weaknesses, and the like are likely to hit us Sometimes.

No matter how easy a job is, there are days it looks like we need extra energy to sustain ourselves, but that does not mean we should go ahead and start using drugs. It could be a sign that we need to rest or adjust and do better.

Talking about using drugs to boost performance in sports, I don't think that is the right thing to do. Most people are attracted to sport because they believe it is something that is real and unbiased. Bringing drugs into the picture as a boost for those who entertain us through sport makes the whole thing a scam.

Drugs should not be allowed in sports at all, if one can't use his or her natural energy and ability to keep the game going, then the person should step aside and let those who are fit carry on.

For instance, even if drugs are legalized in sports, I hope you know there are sportsmen and women who would never use them, it might be against their principles. Don't you think that it will be unfair to such people? Obviously, they would be cheated.

Should we even talk about the side effects of drugs and how addictive they can be? I don't know if I am the only one who notices that people who take drugs to enhance their performance in sports act strangely during the game. These drugs can make them Superman and Superwoman in terms of strength and endurance but it tempers with their mind. I don't care what one's reason for using drugs in sports is, but for me, it's not something that should be embraced.

On the issue of whether taking drugs replaces hard work, I believe that drugs don't take the place of hardwork in sport, most of the participants always take their time to build themselves. A lot of them take drugs to boost what is already within them.

I don't just agree with using drugs as enhancers because the game ought to be natural, bringing anything eternal makes it a movie and for someone like me, I'd rather watch Hollywood movies than get manipulated by sports done under the influence of drugs.

So, in my opinion, whether the effects of drugs in those engaged in sports can be reduced to zero, drugs should not be approved in the game. If not for the fact that it's a form of scam, it also has a way of gradually making those sportsmen and women lazy.

Imagine, I know that if I take drugs I can run 100 meters without getting tired, of what use will training be to be again? I'll just eat, sleep, and have fun. Let any competition come, my drugs will do the needful.

But without drugs, I know that if I don't train and build myself regularly, I should be ready for the shock of my life. That will make me serious and when I get paid or win a trophy for my performance, then I know it is worth it.

Instead of using drugs, one can commit to building himself or herself and can be better in the game.
