The Ideal Day
By default, every day is a perfect day. Each day comes to us as an empty slate waiting for us to write whatever we wish on it.
I am not disputing the fact that there are days that look rough and tough. I have encountered such days at one point or the other in my life.
I remember there was a day I stayed up late at night trying to finish up all the work I had on Hive and other platforms. While I was still working I slept off.
The next morning I woke up, my battery was drained, and there was no power. I waited for hours but it was not restored. I needed to finish up what I was doing, so I took the phone to a charging center and decided to visit one of my friends who lives close there because where I lived was far from the charging spot.
When I got to his house, he was not around, I felt disappointed and returned home. One thing with me is once my phone is off, my mood gets ruined.
I slept from that afternoon until evening, giving them enough time to charge my phone.
When I was going to get it back by evening, just some distance from the shop, I realized I didn't carry the card they gave me, Gosh. I went back home and picked it up.
When I gave them and collected my phone, I turned it on and guess what? My phone was just 20%, I couldn't leave the phone with him because it was late. I felt like eating the boy raw.
Getting home with the hope that maybe power would be restored by night, my neighbor came asking me where he could charge his phone because our transformer was spoiled, LoL.
That is the definition of a bad day, right? It happens, there are days that look like everything is against you. But the fact that things seem to be going contrary to what you want or expect in a day doesn't make that day a bad one. No day is bad, there are only days our expectations fall short due to circumstances.
Now let's talk about what I see as a perfect day. Everyone has what they see as a perfect day. To some, it's the day everything works well for them, to some, it's a day they get the opportunity to go out to relax and have some fun, a perfect day means different things to different people, it's idiosyncratic.
Well, for me, a perfect day is the day I am able to do all my work, meeting up with every task ahead of me. Those days are usually like heaven on earth for me.
Unfortunately, they are very rare these days. Sometimes I feel the hours in a day are not enough for me, I have so much to do with limited time, LOL.
Each time I get the opportunity to finish those tasks, everything around me gives me joy. The day becomes beautiful automatically.
In conclusion, both a perfect day and a bad day is man-made. Therefore, you can choose to have any of them as often as possible depending on how you plan your activities.
