The way I see the world has always been different either spherical or circular in shape has never mattered to me. My major concern has always been to find a reason for my existence. I mean why are we all here doing God knows what till eventually we cease to exist. It is natural for every human to find their purpose as we grow which kind of just occur to us, a phenomenon called the growth process but I never gave myself time to grow before seeking the answers to questions that can only be found in the process of growth.

Gradually I dive into rigorous thinking, an act most people called being a deep thinker. An obsessive disease of the mind that makes a human more fixated on details of any sort of event draining my ability to have fun since I consider most fun oriented activities to be illogical. My mind is like a database that analyse every action I take before I could even act on it, the major reason behind this act of thinking is to always find a way to figure out if there will be any form of consequences as a result of my actions.

One thing about life is, you can never run out of challenges and I don't mean this in a negative way it just what it is, you could be doing just fine and then boom!!! Something happens which will make you doubt every core of your being. As we grow while navigating our ways through the hurdles of life we become more aware of our existence. Finding our purpose seems like one of the only ways to attribute a meaning to life which is quite funny because we spend a life time chasing our purpose, this makes you wonder what life is all about.

There are thousands of books out there written by scholars who believed to have figured out what life is all about but the truth is it all comes down to which path an individual wishes to follow and what choice lead you to the path. We were not born with some sort of manual which would have made life a lot easier, I mean our roles and path in life will already be stated in it but in the absence of that we are left with our ability to decide what is right and best for us. Which can be tricky sometimes because life is not black and white, there is always something in between.

I wouldn't claim to know all about life because I'm still trying to figure it out. Just like everybody, I stumble upon hurdles and I learn in the process. Throughout the days of my life there has always been this principle of mine that serves as my guardian, my Achilles heel. Something that directs my focus back to the right track no matter how far I have fallen off the wagon.

ACTION BEGETS CONSEQUENCES

All my life I believe in one single principle which is called actions and consequences. There is no action a human will take either good or bad that would not warrant a consequence which might also be negative or positive. It is tricky when you think about it but it is true, you can find yourself in the position of wanting to do something good but despite your goodwill it could be misinterpreted and hereby cause more havoc than the one you were trying to solve. This is how complex human actions are, nothing in life is without consequences.

In my own case before making any decision I consider this factor greatly, I create some kind of visual display in my head, I sit in there and watch the action I'm about to take play out by doing so I get to see glimpse of how people might react to it and any possible consequences that might occur. That is why most times it takes time for me to process things and it makes people wonder, it is just a simple decision, why is it taking him so long to decide? If only they understand how complex little things are, if only they are aware of how little things could have devastating effect they would understand.

Does it not sound weird that every war that mankind has ever fought is as a result of an action, either deliberate or not. Just one action springs up conflict that changes the fate of thousands, those who have nothing to do with the action, they were not even aware of when it happened and just like that they become collateral damage of another man's decision. Sticking to this principle of mine has never been easy, there are times I have acted without thinking but the result is never pleasant. There are times when as humans we try to go against our code of conduct just to see if we will get other pleasing results but every time I try, I ended up having another reason to think about my actions more carefully before embarking on it.

I can't really remember how I came up with this code of conduct of mine but for anyone who had to learn about life the hard way like I did would definitely pick up some lessons along the line. The reality is, it is sometimes exhausting to have think about something so deeply but instead having to endure a life with piled up regrets, I would rather be drained by thinking too much than become a victim of ignorance.

Even physics attributes reaction to an action. Inactions equally have consequences, this is life and it's good you take your time before taking actions as it gives more clarity and reduces negative consequences.

Exactly, giving our actions much thought reduces the risk of unexpected consequences.

Most time, I also think before acting because some actions could cause more damage than we expected but in some cases, when my anger gets the best of me... it is hard to think in such situation...

It happens to everyone, I mean is there anyone on earth who doesn't get angry at some point. We humans aren't perfect we just have to control ourselves as much as possible.

I'm imagining how you behave in exam hall while writing an exam.... especially when you're about to enter an answer you're not sure of. 30mins could be chopped off while thinking and contemplating on whether to write it or go and sort for another. Lol😅

Very true, every single action of humans has a downside👌

Well in exam my ability to decide on which question to answer is less complex because before I start I would have gone through the questions, answer the ones I'm sure about first before coming back to the rest. And when I'm busy answering the questions I know I'm also using that time to contemplate on the questions I'm not sure about. Our brain ability to multitask is astonishing 😅

Acting without taking thought on the possible outcome of the action is foolishness. It's just so funny that life is designed to reward us for every decision we take. Knowing this should make us always take a thought before we do anything at all.

Exactly, The complexity of the consequences of human action is something everyone must consider before making any decision.
