I have been on hive for a couple of years now which I have learnt the value of determination and consistency to be the backbone of every hive blogger. I must admit that the more I navigate my way on hive the more the rate at which I'm fascinated by the platform. Being privileged to be exposed to different kind of opportunities on the platform is not something I take for granted. In order to ensure I remain productive and facilitate my growth on hive I have always tried to improve the rate at which I engage on hive and create quality content to add value to the platform.
Here comes another year and it seems setting goals, objectives to be achieved are in order, a custom among most productive hive bloggers to ensure that they stay focus and have something to account for by the end of the year. A tradition I have practiced for few times but last year I didn't set any specific goals not because I didn't want to but due to numerous offline activities I had foreseen which made me reduce whatever expectation I might have concerning my hive growth for last year. Generally one of the major challenges battling most hive bloggers is balancing offline and online activities and in my case NYSC service came in the mix. I was quite aware of its possible impact on my hive activities but I couldn't foresee it all.
In a way it affected my hive activities and growth greatly, it is no doubt that last year was indeed a demanding year for me and to be honest I'm glad I didn't set any specific objective if not I would have been greatly disappointed. Despite the ups and down I experienced last year I was still able to hold unto some of my hive activities no matter how difficult it was to maintain a work-life balance, I might not have been able to achieve the objectives I desire but I made sure I wasn't in the same position I was ln 2022. I guess I have passion to thank for the little growth I was able to achieve last year amidst all the chaos.
2025 it is, I'm yet to get out of the same loop I was last year, I'm speaking of my NYSC service which will be rounding up before the end of the first quarter of this year, it all boils down to one question, will my activity for the first quarter of the year determine the entire outcome of my hive growth for the year? I don't think so. If there is one thing I have learnt from my experience last year is to be cognisance of the unknown. Just like I did last year I wouldn't be setting anything specific when it comes to my hive objectives for this year especially when it comes setting specific numbers but I would be adding a little bit of an upgrade to my objectives.
Speaking of my goals and objectives for this year, it will be titled Renewing my passion for consistent blogging, engagement and exploring more opportunities within hive blockchain. Due to reduction in my hive activities last year, it wasn't all negative, it granted me the privilege of expanding my knowledge about hive blockchain and the crypto space based on some lessons I took and in the process I realised despite my consistent blogging and creation of content over the years, I'm yet to fully dive into the ocean of opportunities that are available within hive blockchain.
So instead on stating a specific number of HP, HBD savings while navigating through series of unknown I have in my path this year, I want to focus my energy on something I can actually do with or without the influence of my offline activities. Moreover investing my time and effort in exploring other opportunities on hive blockchain while also ensuring consistency in quality engagement and content creation will definitely produce some desirable numbers in terms of HP and foster personal growth.
