it's indeed amazing to know that the initiative gave me a new friend, she's not just an ordinary person but one with a rare personality. her voice so calm, her eyes are charming and her light skin complexion glows in the dark. I know by now you all are curious to know who this personality is, but hehe.... Don't be so fast! just chill, relax and allow me take you on this exciting ride. 🤣
few weeks back, the initiative hosted a partners week, where we got paired with other newbies to collaborate together for the sake of familiarity. I for one know is gonna be an error to end the initiative without a friendship and boom the leadership of the house made it so easy for us all. Without further delay, I got a nice partner in the person of @toryfestus and i must say she's the best anyone can ask for. I wasn't so sure of how this would turn out to be but on the other hand I was positive it's gonna end real good.
To begin a conversation with Tory, I reached out to her via Discord thereafter we exchanged Whatsapp contact where the real gist started. Tory is not much of a social media person but she did her possible best we achieved something of great value. We held countless of conversations ranging from phone calls, countless chat, voice and video calls also. Okay! I know we are curious to know her birth name since we are familiar with Tory on the blockchain. Victory Aforkoghene is a Delta girl but born and brought up in Warri who currently reside in port Harcourt.
Unlike most of us who's hobbies are probably singing, dancing, jumping and the rest, 🤣 her hobby is reading like shes a book warmer that reads literally anything book she can lay her hands on. One of her favorite color is purple, she's a good catering please do well to book her for your cakes and pastries. Do you know we have a few things in common just like the position we hold in our family? Second born and the only female child, still learners to our mother tongue 🤣 and lastly i just realized the last three letters of her surname is my native name ene 🤣🤣🤣 please do well to confirm again.
I could go on and on writing about victory who's nickname is Tory but I'll call it a break here. 😊😊
Moving on properly to the task at hand for week six, these are my answers to the question.
Question 1: list out tools you know can be use to track and monitor information on hive and explain their uses.
First on my list is hive buzz. I know everyone is familiar with hive buzz, as they constantly update us on our progress on the blockchain such as our total number of comments, replies, upvotes etc.
Secondly, is Hivestats. Compared to hive buzz that's automatic, stats is a website on its own that gives a well detailed statistics of individual progress on chain.
Question 2: check out your profile information on hivestats, and explain the different stats shown about your account on the site.
Like I earlier said in question 1, hivestats is a website showing a well detailed information of an account. So first thing to do is click on hivestats.io on Chrome browser, insert your hive username which will take you to your profile. This shows you your HP which is your actual hive power, received delegation which is hive power sent to your account, sent delegation hp you sent out etc.
Question 3: find the lazy panda curation trail and follow it. Customize the trail according to weight, method and wait time as desired.
First, I logged in hive.vote which required my hive username name and active key after which I inserted a hivesigner password. The hivesigner password gave me a touch time but holala.... I conquered. 🤣
Next was to search for lazy panda, click the follow button to join trail after which you can click on settings icon to adjust your vote weight. By default vote weight is 50 so I left mine like that and we are good to go. 😊
Question 4: configure and set up F.R.I.D.A.Y. to give you notifications.
First you have to join the discord channel, after that use the help channel and just type the command like this (/register hiveuser name).
Finally.... this is the end of task six (6).
