It has been my utmost desire to be surrounded by friends I can call family, but the sad thing again is that most of them are only driven by their lustful desires not that they want to establish anything serious. Countless times, have asked myself if I should even continue with this ship called friendship because the heartbreaks is just something else but even with the heartbreaks from past relationships, I still want to believe there are good people that value friendships just that am yet to meet them but hopefully I'll do soon.
Before resigning from my former place of work, I met Faith who came in search of greener pasture months after I resumed work. She was placed under my supervision and during her time of training she was sure a good student and I enjoyed her company so does she. After her training ended and it was time for the management to fix her in a particular shift, she was placed in same shift as mine. My joy knew no bound as we both blended so well like we've known each others for years. As time passed by we became even more familiar and our relationship grew from mere colleagues to something I call sisters. We both took risks, did some nasty things together that made us even more stronger but all those while that word called "money" never came between us.
On this particular day, we both planned to visit town to go buy some stuff actually she was going to get a new phone while I was going for something different. The plan was to go purchase mine before hers but unfortunately the price was way higher than the amount I went with so we decided to go get hers. After picking her choice phone, the amount of money with her was less the price of phone. Rather than both of us coming back home without buying anything from the market after paying transport fair, we decided she lend my money which was done happily and peacefully.
I know by now we all must have assumed or concluded the money I lend to faith ended our relationship but the truth is money wasn't really the actual deal even though it shook us for a while and the worst is till date am yet to get the complete money. I had to call a spade a spade when I realized she was seeing someone I cherished behind my back. This honestly broke me down and then I decided to let go of both her and my once cherished person. It was so necessary I cut tides with her because first I couldn't trust her with my finance and second my other relationship so it was no point having her as a friend.
