People cheat out of selfishness, they always reap where they did not show, we have watched a lot of it in movies even some are around us, they believe they are in power and can impose it on the powerless, and they always believe nothing like karma, not knowing that karma is watching them and it will give it back to them when the time comes.
Not only in relationships we encountered cheating, but cheating also occurs in so many forms, and most of it is always used to victimize the poor always.

A certain time, my father bought land in his village from a man and was planning to use the land for farming, not subsistence farming, he was planning commercial farming, he acquire the land and left for the city, he told us about it and we were all happy about it.
The following month he began to feel sick, he can not do anything again even can not go to work, he was hospitalized for months but he eventually died after all that.
The painful death of our father never allows anyone to think of the land, because it was a painful death, we spent all we had and he could not survive it.
Some years back my mother was just arranging her wardrobe and saw the land's document, she called our attention to it and one of my senior brothers decided to visit the village and check the land so that we can start something on the land in other to fulfill our father's wish.
He left for the village the following month and check the land, when he got there, the land has already been sold out to another buyer, so my brother went straight to the man that sold the land to my father and the man denied that my father didn't purchase any land from him, my brother called my mother and explained everything to her, my mother said we should leave the man and forget about the land but my brother did not agree with her.
My mother is a soft-minded person she doesn't like anything like trouble, my brother insisted on getting to the root of the matter and headed straight to the king's palace and explained everything to him, the king called the man and asked the man about, the man said it is true that he sold the land to my father but since my father is no more he has sold it to another person, my brother was shocked and stood up to slap the man but people hold him down.
My brother threatened to take the man to the court and the man replies to him that he should go and bring his lawyer and that my brother can not do anything to him, he is influential in society and also a politician, the man also threatened to kill my brother if he did not let the sleeping dog lies, he said he will give my brother some plots of land from another place when my father bought hectares of land from him, my brother did not agree to it.
The next day my mother called my brother to return to the city, we all feel cheated but the man is powerful even than the law, my mother leave everything to God (as usual) that is the way the powerless people in Nigeria do.
The next month we heard that the man is terribly sick and demands to see my brother, my mother didn't allow my brother to go and see him because we do not know his intentions. Not too long his first son died in an accident, he sent for my brother again but no response from us.
After much persuasion, my brother visited the man and the man said he saw our father, that my father told him that he should return what rightly belongs to him, at first when my brother said it I didn't believe him because I know if someone is dead the person is dead forever, he said he is ready to return the land to us without any problem.
I can not say my father intervened because he is dead, I just know that the man returned the land to us and I am sure we are not the first person he will try that with, people speak badly of the man when it comes to issues of buying land from him, he does sell a land to multiple people.
