One of the best thing that happened to me late year 2023 was the privilege of joining the Hive blockchain with the journey been about a year and 2 months now. Special thanks to @adedoyin-g who introduced and guided me to hive platform. Last year was great for me on the hive blockchain with some special moments of success in some of the communities and niche of interest. For example, i had the privilege of been the music artiste of the week on the @openmic community, 1st place winner on the @hivenaija community, membership badge of the @afritunes community etc.
Now in 2025 and i hereby say happy new year to everyone and i wish us all the best of the year. With my major niche been music and writing like creative contents, health, education etc i had my visions for this year rolled out already before me. I so much believe in the power of vision because a wise saying says: "If you aim at nothing, you will shoot at nothing" , therefore, having a clearcut vision for the Hive blockchain for this year serves as a roadmap to achieve alot. For this new year, i have highlighted three (3) major plans for this new year with so much expectation that at the end of this year, i can boldly say i have achieved them all.
• POWERING UP MY HIVE POWER MONTHLY
One of the things i learnt from people around last year and i saw from someone testimonial of last year was how she was able to power up a huge sum of hive power which amazes me because it takes discipline, determination and consistency to do so. As rightly said by someone; "hive is not a quick rich scheme" and that hiveblocks is a good investment for someone with long term vision, hence, i align with these thoughts and decided to power up monthly.
• MORE COMMUNITY ENGAGEMENTS
I noticed that the more community engagements, the better the prominence with its benefits in the long run. Though i still have other engagements/commitments outside of hive blockchain with a professional career alongside, i have decided this year to engage more in community activities especially those of my major niche to start with. These engagements includes discord channel interactions, comments, participation in weekly contests/activities etc. By the end of this year, i hope to have more visibilities and recognitions based on my valuable community contributions/engagements.
• EXPLORING HP DELEGATION/CURATION TRAIL
One of the basic lessons of life isn't about how much to get, but how much to give. I planned to understand more on HP delegation/curation trail and by this understanding start something no matter how big or small it is. It can even be a community delegation or something similar which i can afford and maintain just as a way of giving back to the blockchain. By the end of the year, i hope to thick my plan achieved by delegating already.
All these are my plans for the hive blockchain this new year which i believe are achievable and realistic. Thank you for reading even as comments/contributions are welcomed.
