I was very sad when I read this contest topic. After reading this topic, many things are spinning around my head but I didn't understand what to write on it.
In my last two articles, I have drawn a little map of my Pakistan that in what conditions my country is going through at the moment. At this time, the conditions my Pakistan is going through, it will be difficult to say that the future of my country will be very bright. When I watch the news channel, I hear people's cries. When I open Facebook, I see the helplessness of people. Do you know that more than half of my country has been submerged in floods? Millions of people are homeless and living on the streets.
Thousands of people have seen their cattle and their children drown before their eyes.
People's houses have been destroyed. People's children have drowned. If you are connected to social media, then you will understand that Pakistan is going through a strenuous time. Every day millions of food trucks are loaded and going to the flood victims. A camp is being set up for flood victims in every school in every city.
Taunsa Barrage was a beautiful city in my country, Balochistan and Sindh are beautiful provinces of my country but if you look now, you will see nothing but water there. If you want to go from one city to another city, you will see people on the side of the road during this entire journey.
I have never seen people of my country so helpless in my life. Seeing this state of the country, the government is holding their head. People trapped in the water are being pulled out by helicopter. Food is being delivered by helicopter to those people where five to ten feet of water is standing on the roads.
But I am happy that Turkey, China, Saudi Arabia and the US all these countries are standing to help Pakistan.
Our fields are destroyed:
It is said that this flood has broken a record of twenty five years where sixty percent of Pakistan has been submerged in water, crops have been destroyed. In the coming years, our country will have such inflation, we can't even guess. The lands of our farmers and the hard work they had put into their lands have all become water.
People's have lost their jobs:
Thousands of hotels have collapsed in the flood. And even if three hundred servants work in each hotel, their means of livelihood and earning has ended.
How will people earn and how will they feed their families? There is a big question mark in it.
Millions of houses destroyed:
If there are 10 or 20 people in every house, think where will those people go? How will the houses be built and the construction will be done when the flood water dries up. And it will take months and years for the flood waters to dry up.
Education has stopped:
The flood victims are living in schools and colleges because they have no place to stay. And because of this, children's education has stopped. My country has gone too far back It will take us many years to get back to where we were.
We, the Pakistanis are in distraught and excruciating situation. I see my whole country sinking into inflation in more years. I pray that Allah will take my country out of this difficulty.
