What can be done with leftover beads from a dress I made, a yarn I used to make my baby's hair and an empty cartoon of a biscuit?
It's Creative Sunday and I have all these items at home immediately a beautiful DIY creativity pops into my head.
Greetings everyone and welcome to my blog, it's a long time since I made a post on HIVE LEARNERS CREATIVITY SUNDAY
I have missed you all the same way you missed my DIY post.
With the leftover materials I had at home, I decided to make this lovely tree for home and office decoration without spending much money.
MATERIALS USED
- Yarn (Black and gold)
- Beads
- Empty cartoon of Biscuit
- Spray paint (Gold, red, white)
- Glue
- Shinning sparkles (Gold)
- scissors

THE MAKING
I cut the empty cartoon into smaller sizes to enable me to get a hard surface and a good picture of creative works.
After cutting them into smaller sizes I placed them on the floor and used my paint spray to charge the surface colour.
A beautiful surface I have now, I rolled up the gold yarn into small sizes with my finger to make them in circles. I got my desired size, cut the ends and tie up the middle to make the trees.
For the Black yarn, I made a long twist from the top to the bottom, place it on my painted surface and used glue to hold it in the middle and spread it at the top and the bottom to make the branches and the root.
Now my tree is almost ready I placed the beads on the tree branches to beautify the tree and act as leaves too. spraying some shining sparkles to give its finishing look and behold the tree is ready.
I made another one using the beads as the stem and the yarn as the leaves.
I loved my art of creativity using the things I have at home to make beautiful DIY creativity. you could place them in your homes or your offices.
You too could try them at home with your friends and family, The school teachers could learn and teach their pupils at school. It's so beautiful that my son wants to gift his school teacher, so you could gift someone too.
This is in response to the #Hivelearners Creative Sunday contest.
Thank you for reading and learning.
