Greetings Everyone
Hello, everyone! It feels really great to be making this post. I would like to use this medium to welcome you all to my blog and another interesting HL futured post for this week.
Traffic-Jam us always one serious issues we face in a country boy like mine (Nigeria). There tend to be states where this is seriously a day-to-day ordeal on the highway.
Personally, I have had a few encounters with this incident, but the few I have witnessed are quite a lot to take in, and I really don't wish to have this experience on a daily basis. The troubles experienced as a result of the traffic issues in my country are quite extreme, but on the other hand, they tend to be interesting to watch as there are people, amongst others, who tend to make use of the opportunity to showcase a few of their talents and so on.
I have had a few experiences with traffic issues. This is the one that stood out among all the others. So I was on my way to school (traveling) from home back to school after a long break.
It was a Monday, and in my country, Mondays are always busy days. Most of the time, I will say it is taken too seriously for my liking, but what do I have to do? So, I was inside a vehicle which was taking me to the motor park where I was to take my vehicle back to school.
We got to this always busy traffic circle in the city (Ikom), and everybody was on a halt for other vehicles to pass since it was a midpoint to four (4) different roads, and it wasn't our turn to go yet. Others where busy waiting while some bike guys who where in a haste and was not wanting to wait patiently for their time there had to go before the required time, it was just the sound of their bikes colliding with incoming vehicles from there other side is the road we heard.
It was really serious though, like why can't you be a little patient for once? I just felt bad for them because the damage was extreme and will require a lot of capital to fix, and they have to talk about their health too.
There were a lot of lessons to be learnt from that incident that day though, but the one that stood out for me among all of them was Patiencr
. A little Patience in life will lot kill us, we don't have to be on a rush in everything we do in life. There is a popular adage that says Hasty climbers make sudden fall
It was a lesson well learnt that day, I wouldn't forget that for anything in the world.
Thanks for reading everyone
Much Love
