It's been like forever since the last time I posted on this space. I don't know if I was missed and if I was, to what extent?
I have been fighting my "demons" for the past few weeks and have found it impossible to make a post or to engage.
I have not defeated these demons but for now, I have some breathing space and so I have decided to make this post which is long overdue.
Inorder to track growth,engagement and monitor overall account activities, some tools have been specially designed to make these easy. In this post, I will be talking about these tools as much as I can.
Hivebuzz
This buzzy bee is on virtually every post of everyone giving updates on no of upvotes received, distributed or no of posts made, comments received etc. Hivebuzz helps track account engagement and as I have noticed, always replies.
Not only does hivebuzz give updates on existing status, it also gives you the next target to work towards and will of course notify you when you achieve this new target.
Hivebuzz rewards you with badges for each achievement.
Visiting https://hivebuzz.me/ and putting in an account username is enough to get the account history of an account.

This is another monitoring tool that can be used to perform a whole lot as can be seen from the screenshot below.

Hivestats
This is another wonderful tool which can be used to get the full details of an account including the HP, Hive, HBD. It even gives a breakdown of the sources of the HP as well as the earnings per day, per week, per month etc.
It is a indeed an efficiency tool that keeps hive stats, lol.
Other details like followers and followings can also be seen from here and even the voting power and vote value can be detected from here.
Find the lazy-panda curation trail and follow it. Customise the trail according to weight, method, and wait time as desired. If you choose, enable the trail and share screenshots on the process.
This is something I have always wanted to learn on hive and thankfully, the newbies initiative granted me this wish unknowingly, in addition to a whole lot of other information with which I was impacted. Following curation trails is a way of joining established curators to Curate quality content of fellow creators and earn while doing this, a beautiful cycle.
Inorder to follow a curation trail, visit hive.vote then login and search for the curation trail you wish to follow, in my case lazy-panda curation trail.
When I have chosen this trail, I was required to confirm my choice which I did
After doing this, there are other settings that grants you some level of control despite following a curation trail, like choosing the percentage to vote with. Whether to vote with a fixed percentage or to vote depending on the percentage the curation account votes with. You can also choose the duration after the curation votes before your own votes appears and so on.
Configure and set up F.R.I.D.A.Y. to give you notifications. Provide a step-by-step explanation with screenshots.
For this, I went to the discord channel, and registered by sending the command "/register" and inputting my account username.
Then I proceeded to set it up by sending the command "/settings"
I followed the link that was sent to the site and saved my changes.
This is how I was able to set up my F.R.I.D.A.Y and also follow lazy-panda curation trail.
At this point, I would like to shout out to my new hive friend @fredaa whom I was paired with for this task.
She has been a great partner, who even checked upon me when she noticed my prolonged absence from hive. She encouraged me and I was really glad that hive gave me a good friend.
Her name is Elfreda Tamunokuro and she is from Rivers State, but based in Lagos. I was glad to meet her especially as she proved to be a good friend and partner.
I hope we get to meet on a hive hangout or something, I would definitely make a post if that happens 😊.
