Environment Of Music. We Can't Be Separated

From my young days till now, I have been that one person who is so much in love with songs. Just a little story of my song life. Coming from a home with a musical background, my dad was an organist, and he was the only one on the organ back then in the chapel.

At a time, he had to teach one of his spiritual sons, and not too long after, the man learned to play my dad off from the space (he went to the world beyond). His son was now on the keys while we, the born kids, were nowhere to be found. As a church girl I was mostly into the gospel but was too timid to participate in any presentation. While I was at my secondary school, I joined the dancing group and was mostly into the calisthenics because I just loved the fast dance and more. As time progressed, I began to get some definition for my life and decided to stick to one lane, which was the gospel music—not that I don't know know how to sing the circular.

I learn the circular music because, on a daily basis, while I walk around the streets and from neighbors too.My favorite music was born out of an experience that, when I always think about it, still remains so fresh in my mind. One of those days I woke from sleep and saw my right hand on my chest and singing a particular song. That experience made me cry, and at that moment I decided to make a fresh commitment to my maker.

I pledge allegiance to the Lamb by Ray Boltz. It was that one song that whenever I sing it or hear it being sung, I become so sober. As a young girl, I just knew at that I just needed to step up my walk with God and be more intentional. That I did, and shortly I gained admission into the university. Any day I think of that experience, I give thanks to God who helped me through.

My university days were so plain for me, and I had all the privilege to do whatsoever I wished to because none of my family members were there with me, so I had that liberty to do what I wished to.There are lots of meanings in every song, and to a good extent, a man can be defiled or made by the kind of songs he listens to. There is a spirit behind every song that is on the air today. This is why, for no reason, you just see yourself moving your body at the sound of music even when you are not so conscious of it.

Music is life; songs have the ability to live even when the original singers are no longer alive. In fact, there are songs that get more popular when the artists are not alive. Hope I have not taken you so far through my adventure. Thank you so much for staying with me this far. This is my entry to the Hive Learners contest, second edition, for the week #148.

Life would be so boring without music, music is an art, it speaks more about us and what we are going through, music has its way of making us happy and forget about unpleasant situations.

It does all those and more. Thank God for that miracle called music

Music doesn't need permission to enter your spirit. One thing I love about my university days is that I was part of the choir, and we sing almost every Sunday after service is over. We do this and spend extra hours in church singing until we are full and ready to go home. Music has a way of uplifting one's spirit, and Dunsin and Natheniel music do it better.

My dear, it doesn't. I remember those old good days...these two you mentioned are just superb....kai
