It Was A Mistake Though Not The End, So There Is Room For Improvement

Seasons greeting to you all in this community and beyond. In this publication today I will be telling about one mistake that cost me so much though it was one that taught we a lesson though not in a desired way. I started off by narrating how one of our senior friends failed to acknowledge that that others can make mistakes and so be given so allowance and not to condemn them totally.

When it is others who made a certain mistake on a thing and it turned out that it costs us something we become upset with them and we get to asked several questions to understand why they even committed such offense. As adults, we most a times tend to unleash our anger on kids maybe when they forget their property in school or gets one or two damaged. I was in this shoe but as time progresses I learnt to give some room for their faults, when blames wants to come on tend I just intervain and say that it was just a mistake as we are humans. This has helped me not to put myself in much pressure of demanding perfection from them.

Some weeks back one of our senior friends and narrated how he misplaced his phone in a program that he went for. I felt so sorry for him and somehow wished he never went for the program. On a second thought I tried picking some lessons from the bad event. He further told me that he never believes that one can make mistakes as what happened to him just taught him to accept other people's excuse as one that makes sense rather than condemning them. He was given to condemning and blaming people for any little fault, his wife kept telling him that what happened to him he deserves to be beaten like a child and does words kept hunting him.

We are not perfect, no matter how strong we think we can be there are times that we make mistakes or we forget dear things we should not be forgotten.

Few days back I felt like eating well seasoned chicken, since I have a little in the freezer I decided to do a quick work. This meat was looking so appetizing and I was just waiting for it to be ready. Suddenly I calm into the seating room to attend to some online matter before you could say jack, I forgot totally that I was preparing something. Few minutes away, my husband asked of what I was preparing and before I could get to the kitchen my meat was a burnt sacrifice. This one pained me so much that I didn't just know what to do to myself. Thankfully it was not all burnt so I decided to punish myself by not going to prepare another but just manage what was left.

No one can overgrow making mistakes though it should not be a frequent thing as we are expected to learn from our previous mistakes which will give us a better approach to things. On my part, next time I will try not to go so far while preparing my meals so I won't be recording burnt meals.

Giving some space for growth is so important as it will help us to recover from previous hurts. My entry to the the last edition of the week's prompt. Thank you for reading.

Mistakes are bound to happen because no one is perfect, there are some situations in which we forget about what we were doing and move on with another thing, you turn meat to a burnt offering in this t-pain economy 😂😂😂

We are bound to make mistakes as humans and most time out of forgetfulness. It’s so poor when we judge others and also have then blamed. Anyone can call a victim.
