HL-CREATIVE SUNDAY - TRY EVERYTHING COVER

Hello everyone, it’s another week for hivelearners creative Sunday and it’s with great pleasure I’m sharing my entry! So today, my neighborhood was a bit quiet, I guess it’s because today is Sunday (not always though) so I decided to make a music video as an entry for this week. I had so many songs in mind but then I had to go with Try everything by Shakira because that was the song that tells so much about me in the past few weeks.

Being a student comes with a lot of packages and trust me you need a sound mind to scale through. At first, the journey seemed so hard and difficult but after a while I got to realize why it was so hard for me because, first, I tried doing everything all by myself and it just didn’t work. Second, I was super conscious of not making any mistakes but that also didn’t work. Third, I was worried about every single thing and that was even the worst of them all.

A lot of persons reached out and they said a lot of things which opened my mind and allowed me see things a little bit differently than I’ve always saw them. I started seeking for help when I needed one, I was a bit more loosen to making mistakes, instead I focused more on how to get it right next time. And finally, instead of letting myself worry about everything, I just told God about anything that tried to stress me. Life got a lot better and it’s still getting even better the more I did things this way.

The song Try everything by Shakira is a song that tells of one who is resilient and optimistic even through all the ups and downs. It’s a song that just gives you this relieve that it is fine to make mistakes than not trying at all. Most times we get so scared of making mistakes and end up not doing anything just like I did at first. The truth is, no one knows it all and no one is perfect, we only work towards being perfect and we can only attain that if we walk in the light of God because he is the only perfect one.

So next time when you feel like hitting your head on the wall, just pause for a moment and tell yourself it’s fine and seek for help! And that shouldn’t stop you from trying and trying and trying until you get the results you want. Like I’d always say, there is no room for giving up, only room for improvements, so don’t forget that.
