For every time we spend either wisely or been the opposite comes its repercussions and benefits
Time is never enough when we are making wise use of it, funny how it just runs very fast whenever we decide to while away with it
sometimes times lost can never be gotten back no matter how hard we try and sometimes we get a second chance to mend it. But in all, it's always advisable to make use of time
This week's prompt topic brought back memories of time and how have always tried to manage and make wise use of it
It was my second year in the university and we had just resumed a new session when a very long strike hit our academics all because of some pending payment and no conclusion on a firm agreement
It all started with a two-week warning strike hoping for the government to comply but as we will have it our adamant government refused to comply and that was the cue for the strike to last longer than expected
Now this is where the management of time comes in, I felt it's the strike was something that would end soon so I was waiting every day for a resumption but little did I know we were in for a long ride and so the fear of me venturing into a something else apart from school and get stopped halfway all coz of the strike been cut off made me wait till I realized I have wasted three months of my stay at home on waiting and so the fourth month I decided to venture into something profitable and not care if we resume or not*
You know sometimes we just need to take the risk.
And so I started the UX/UI thing to learn and make wise use of my stay-at-home
I had no jobs other than that so it had all my full commitment and as time went on I began to get deep into it and enjoy what I was doing
The first month was a smooth ride doing it but come the second month I began to have issues with buying some courses online and having issues paying
I had a lot of stress trying to get this and so my zeal for it reduced
As if that was not enough to discourage me from learning
The federal government called off the strike and now it is time to get back to school
I had not even gotten to know the basics and now I have to juggle between classes and learning this
My commitment derailed, and going to classes to meet up with academics deprived me of full commitment
At that moment I knew I had to just pause the project and do more academics because we had been home for too long
I needed to get back on track
Bottom line, I had to pause the project and do more of academics
Though it was not something I wanted but having had time getting the courses online and school work played a big role in making it a paused project
A paused project I would call it
