To be honest, I have lied many times in my life, and I can't even remember when and why I have done those, but in very rare cases, I tell lies. In fact, I don't need to tell a lie on a regular basis. And today I am going to share one of the lies that I told for the good.

About 3 years ago, I told the lie. And I said it for my sister. She is a talented student, but it says that talent is a waste if a student can't utilize it. In the case of my sister, it was the same, and she was never ready to make her best effort to do better in the exams. She could learn and maintain everything pretty well, but in the case of trying and making an effort, she was careless. I told her many times to be serious about studying, but the nature of keeping delaying was the real trouble. Surprisingly, I was promoted to class 11 at that time without any kind of failure. In fact, her results can be considered a good result. I don't know how she made it because she only used to study just before the exam. That kind of trick comes to supported students of the time, and as a result, she failed in a subject at intermediate level, which means in class 11.

Several colleges published the results of that exam, but my sister never mentioned her results to anyone. She was able to convince my mother that no result card was given. The good thing is that I knew about the system and have also collected information about her college results. At the end, she confessed about it, and she requested that I not tell my parents about it. I could not leave her that way. So I promised her to keep it secret, but I gave her a condition, and that was to make a very good result in the next exam.

I remembered her about it each time she distracted from studying and gave her ultimatum. I know what I have done is kind of blackmailing, but I think whatever I did was good for her. Indeed, I lied to my parents about her result and supported her to get out of trouble, but at this time, I have done my best for herself. Do you know what the result of the next exam was? She got A+ in all the subjects. My parents were happy to see the results. All credit goes to her because she worked hard on that exam. I really feel very good about that life because I gave her a second opportunity to correct her mistake, even though she has already done it. After that, I revealed the truth to my parents. So it was a lie for giving her the second opportunity by telling a lie.
