But wait! Let me tell you guys where I was and why I haven't posted for 3 weeks on CreativeSunday. Life is uncertain and Sudden events happen to take place anytime and out of nowhere. The same happened to me, first, I got busy in two marriages with my relatives and after that, I got involved/busy in the death of a very close relative. She was like a grandmother to me. She was admitted to hospital and then she died leaving a deep sorrow in my heart.
But Life Doesn't stop for anyone. it moves on and for the same reason, I am back with my CreativeSunday Blog for my hive community.
For this Sunday we decided to cook a special vegetable Recipe, which is made of potatoes and brinjal.
Ingredients
- 1 Kg brinjal
- 1/2 Kg potatoes.
- 3-4 Tomatoes.
- 1 Inch Garlic.
- 5-6 Green Chillies
- Salt ( As per taste )
- 1/2 TeaSpoon Turmeric
- 1/2 Red chilli Powder
- 200 ML Oil.
- 1 Table Spoon of Coriander Powder.
- 1/2 TeaSpoon Cumin Powder.
Cooking Procedure
First of all, we need to cut potatoes, tomatoes, green chilli and ginger and keep them aside on a plate.
In the 2nd Step, we will cut the Brinjal into small round pieces as shown in the picture. Please keep it in the water otherwise, it will change color to blackish.
Take the cooking pot and pour it with oil.
add Ginger in the oil in the cooking pot and fry it for about 1 minute.
Now add tomatoes and green Chillies and cook it for about 3-4 minutes until it becomes soft.
Now add potatoes and uncut green Chillies. cook it for about 5-8 minutes, so the potatoes get half done.
Now bring the all species to be used in this recipe and collect them on the plate.
add the spices to the cooking pot and fry them for about 2-3 minutes.
Final thing to add brinjal, add them to the cooking pot and mix them well in the cooking pot.
Now cover the cooking pot and keep it on low flame for about 10-15 minutes as you can see in the picture.
This is the final look of the dish.
Eat it with bread.
I wasn't a lover of this dish before my marriage, but after marriage, when I ate it cooked by my wife. I fell in love with it. I am sure you will also love it.
