Imagine a public announcement was made that the next day would be a lawless day and anything goes, the first thing that would of course run through anyone's mind would be his safety, people will try to make amend with people they have offended to avoid getting killed and there is a possibility everyone would want to stay indoors and avoid contact that day (lol) we know this reality is very unlikely
The First chaos that will occur during the first 24hours would most likely be neighbors going out to kill each other especially if you have this type of annoying neighbor that lives with the sole purpose of oppressing you cause you are less privileged, after neighbors are done with each other, and fully armed, the next location would be banks cause this is the day both rich and poor are made equal by the law so every poor man would want to use this opportunity to stack up some cash against rainy days, most rich men would definitely go in hiding during this 24hours and will most likely comeback to meet there property looted.

In the first few hours of the day when you look at the sky you will probably see smoke coming out of buildings, alarms set off, people crying from pain and cars getting jacked, bodies lying around the streets from gunshot wounds or other types of violent ending, people who have wronged the society will be the most scared at times like this cause obviously someone will be coming for them. Cries of anguished mothers holding their children’s bodies will be an order of that day, the devil will probably be visible that day orchestrating violence from one end to another, emotions one has kept bottled away for centuries will surface again, that guy that looked at you wrongly yesterday will make the list of people to kill during that 24hours. Plots to rob the bank and rob that rich neighbor will be put in place angry feelings you have had for years will be put in motion, That boss of yours that has been denying you your long overdue promotion would have to answer some questions that day vengeance will be the theme of the day as people will go out to settle scores openly and loot for their future.
The government of course amid all these are not safe either they will probably scramble for their life and hide deep in the mountains to survive that day or probably fly out or sought for whatever safe option they can get themselves with their wealth. After this 24hours then the real work for the environment will begin as banks have lost all their money, workers are out there with weapons on hand still looting or securing there loot for the day or locked off somewhere hiding for there dear lives, rich people returning to there homes to find nothing was as they left it, cops reporting for duty with bloodstains that aren’t theirs.
In such situations it will take at least a few days before law and order will be fully restored by then the streets are already most likely filled with smells of corpse or parts of humans that were missed by the sanition teams, supermarkets will have nothing to sell cause they have all been most likely looted by hungry people and government officials will have to work from there respective homes cause there is no office to return to and massive employment opportunities will surface cause a kit of workers will either be reported dead or missing hence replacement. 24hours without law will be a very big mess i hope no one attempts it cause the purge will repeat itself only this time it will be real
