The world of crypto.
This is a story I feel I have written over and over again. I'm sure that you all remember what the year 2020 was like. I guess everyone experienced and coped with it differently.
I was on my phone that very day, checking to see if the government has said something about a palliative or if they were going to share money, that was the rumor that was on at that time.
I had to find a way to earn money even while I was at home. To cut this long story short, I clicked on a link that was sent to me by a friend, who said I could earn by just writing. I had doubts about it at first but proceeded with it.
Uptrennd 1up.
It was on uptrennd my blogging experience started.
I remember how I would stay up all night commenting and replying to comments to gather the token called 1up.
At that time, every user had equal voting power. Those who were on uptrennd would be able to relate to this.
After collecting enough tokens and we feel like withdrawing to our wallet, we would request a withdrawal and wait for some days for the tokens to arrive in our trust wallet.
I was never able to sell the token in exchange because I never understood the process, it seemed difficult to understand. I always had a friend of mine sell the token for me and the cash sent to my account.
Crbn.social
After the site UPTRENND was closed, I moved to CRBN. The Same friend invited me to crbn.social.
If I remember correctly, we were aiming to get to the leaderboard which also required posting and engaging. LUCKILY, I got to the leaderboard, and the tokens won were sent directly to my trust wallet. I was so excited. After selling the token, I got some cool cash from there too. I didn't sell the token myself, because I still didn't understand how to do it.
I couldn't keep up with crbn after some new rules were introduced, it made it harder to get to the leaderboard, but I was grateful that I at least got something from there.
Futures and spot trading.
After a while, my cousin introduced me to someone. The man teaches crypto trading for free on his WhatsApp status now. He shared a book called the Binance Bible and trading futures which I still have. I read the book and there I learned how to trade. Learning to trade on Binance made me understand how to trade on other exchanges.
My cousin and I decided to pay for the trading signal.
At first, it was fun, and there were times I got a profit from trading. However, we were warned that if we get greedy, we may end up losing money, so I tried to be as careful as I could.
Long story short, I had to stop trading at some point cause I felt I was losing more money than I was earning.
There was a time around last year I had a chat with a friend who has a lot of experience with crypto, I thought that it would be wise to ask questions first before buying any token.
My intention then was to buy and hold a token for the long-term with the hope of having good profit from it later. So he told me about staking and some other things which I can't remember now.
Bunny
The token he advised me to buy and hold is called bunny. He put me through how I was to buy and stake.
A few months after buying, and staking, I heard that it got hacked.
Bunny got hacked!.
I lost money there too but I couldn't hold anyone responsible.
I'm sure that anyone into crypto would be familiar with this statement.
"NEVER INVEST WHAT YOU CAN'T AFFORD TO LOSE"
….." and somehow, I found myself on hive."
A friend of mine who was also on uptrennd helped me in creating the account. A few months after the account was created, I became active again and I've been trying to develop my writing skills again ever since then as I continue enjoying my blogging experience and crypto journey.
I always say that I may not have earned millions from crypto but it has been helping me a lot, so far, crypto has given me financial freedom in a way that I will forever be grateful for.
I'm getting paid here for what I do so it's my responsibility to keep doing my best, making sure that I'm improving and that all my contents maintain quality as it is what helps reputation.
