The world is in an endless competition for means, space, resources, and enablements and this is why people are mostly taught to live within their means. Now, these lessons are not learned in schools, they're learned as a result of facing dire consequences and tapping into the lessons that came with the experiences.
They can also be learned by being fully conscious and proactive, this means recognizing a money problem for example, and handling it at its infancy stage before it becomes a full-blown issue. However, many people are wired to shoot first and then ask questions later, this is why life's filled with those who are more concerned with their speed rather than how far they can go.
Because speed is obvious, it creates a mental picture of how far we're striving, even if it might not be real
But, speed blinds people to what matters
Not many people take to analyze the impact of all that speed and see if it's getting things done or only creating an impression. Where I come from, most women prefer to be married than to be financially established, because they attach value to their pace, the satisfaction attained is bigger than any potential dreams and this is why some people tie the Inevitability of financial freedom with a certain stage they're hoping to achieve in life.
This is why they prefer social milestones and media validation, because it creates an impression of progress, money, and class, while their reality might just be debts, loans, and more debts. Poverty can be incurred through negligence and ignorance, failing to cultivate progressive goals that might not necessarily align with our excesses, because some of the things we desire are excesses that might or might not be excusable.
It's not easy to not be sucked into life, the competitive nature, the fakery, and the way we're easily pumped up to behave in certain ways due to pressure. This is to say that some people are running a race against time to establish themselves as accomplishers while leaving out the things that matter; self & financial improvement.
Do we really have the PACE to beat TIME?
The urge to become an accomplisher is what drives certain motives, this is why it's difficult to rid ourselves of life's rat race. The way people learn is really important, this is to say choosing to learn puts one in control of their life. The truth is that being ahead prepares us, and gives us a bird-like view and this is how we managed to inculcate proactiveness in every one of our endeavors and opens a whole new world of opportunities.
However choosing to learn because of suffering consequences is one of the reasons why people are forced to live within the means of their jobs, their families, or depleting savings.
But, can we dare to dream beyond these consequences?
Yes, however, human nature hates being limited and this is why many people aren't originally wired to live within their means, nevertheless we eventually choose to do so because one might experience financial limitations of which they can either adjust to or risk capitulation.
Now, it's difficult to change people's mindset toward money if they're only scared of the consequences of poverty rather than motivated to live a stable life despite external economic debacles. The downside is, the fear of poverty might not necessarily change one's attitude towards money making, this is why fear can not truly drive us, but it has the 100% capacity to do otherwise.
So what's the principal thing?
Originally, I feel that things like population, unemployment, and poverty limit people, but this is only temporal as a Positive change in the finances of people is bound to reveal who they are. Having money and being financially responsible are two different things, people can have money, but building wealth would involve astute discipline. This is why the personality of some they are not defined by their state of lack or limitation.
However, everyone hopes to thrive irrespective of their actions but then we have to be consistent with making the right choice for the universe to bestow its element of luck on us. Our lives are unique and incomparable and sometimes we have to define what works best for us rather than being futile with every one of our efforts
