These days, our mobile device usually comes with different apps that are sometimes not even needed or useful.
Although, some are usually important and vital for the perfect running of our phones but then they are alot of unnecessary apps that are just taking up space and we can't even delete or uninstall them even if we want to.
My current phone storage space is just 64gb rom and now it is actually very occupied and the space left is not even up to 4gb rom anymore. At times if I want to install an app from playstore I will have to delete some apps that are important to me to which is usually very annoying when there are apps I have never even used since I bought the phone like radio, galaxy store , Smart things, and Samsung health. The worst for me is the galaxy store because why do I need the app when I already have Playstore that has all the necessary apps and other things I may need at any point in time once my data is on. There is even another app I came across for the first time ever on my phone and guess the name of the app "Internet" . I was so curious about this app that I decided to delve in and check what it is all about and after checking I found out I don't even need it because i already have Google chrome .
Due to my storage been filled up, I have actually come across several apps that are actually useful but then there is also another alternative app that serves the same purpose which makes them useless. One of those app is YouTube music. I actually loved my experience with this app because it allows me to stream songs easily and the main reason I downloaded it in the first place was because I wasn't really familiar with Spotify then, but now that I already downloaded Spotify that is even more better, I don't see the need to still have this app on my phone anymore.
The only major difference between both apps is the fact that you can watch music videos on YouTube music and that's why there is Youtube where i can watch those videos.
There is even one app i came across as well it's called Gaming hub. It is actually an app that contains several mobile games but then it's not useful to me, i cant even recall the last time I played a mobile game. Moreover, if i want to download any game i can easily visit playstore and get good games without much stress . The most painful thing is that this particular app came with my phone as well and i can't delete it completely only that i could disable it so it won't appear on the front page of my phone but it will still be taking space.
There are actually a lot more unused and useless apps i have found on my phone like LinkedIn, Microsoft office and outlook . Even though i have never used Linkedln after checking it out , I found out it's for business and it may be useful later but i will still have to delete it to save space and i can download it later when i need it.
I was actually shocked and surprised when i came across the Microsoft office app on my phone, because i have always thought it was only found on laptops so what was it doing on my phone. Luckily for me, i can delete these apps anytime i want.
