There's zero joy for a broke guy😞

Financial limitations/being broke is never a joking matter and neither is it a comfortable zone to be. It not only restrain you financially, it also deprive you of experiencing some real life enjoyments.

However no matter the financial circumstance there are still some habitual/routine spending most persons make and these spending are mostly on things not too necessary. Many things can trigger this urge which may be a particular environment, boredom or stress but these unnecessary expenses still find there way into our tight budget.

For some persons it's food, for some it's drink but for me it's SUBSCRIPTIONS 😞🤦.
It just has to be subscription for me, it doesn't matter how tight my budget can be I'll still find myself doing these subscriptions from Dstv, to Netflix and the king of them all is internet data subscriptions.

My data consumption in a week is almost over 50 Gigabyte which means in a month I use up over 200 Gigabyte of data that's some over the roof expenses if I consider the cost.

Breaking from these pattern has been a real challenge for me as I'm so used to my gadgets.
As a work from home person, internet subscriptions is paramount and the wheel of my job but if I am to carry out a proper data usage analysis about seventy percent of Internet data I consumes in a month is mainly from social media platforms where I watch some of these internet comedians and reels😑. I love to laugh and I get so much of that watching these guys short comedies.

As for the Dstv and Netflix subscriptions I consider them superfluous but then I'm football enthuse and someone who doesn't like to miss out on any action especially of my favourite teams but for some times now the top leagues has ended and I still find myself subscribing for premium contents that I hardly watch.

Finally, I feel it's time I trim down my expenses especially with the uncomfortable economic situations in my country Nigeria. Survival is now paramount more than ever and for that I've identify some outdoor activities that can be of great help and take me away from my screen in my leisure time.

I'm planning to organise a football club in my community since football is my favourite sport but I'm going to start with a competition and this competition will be for adolescents between the age of thirteen to fifteen years of age, it's from this competition that I'll select most of my club players from inasmuch as they performed brilliantly. It's going to be the first time I'm organising such event and I hope it works out fine and be of great help in my attempt to trim down effectively my data expenses.
