This prompt is thought-provoking. The world is going through a lot of turbulence, and to put the problems under control is the wish of every rational being.

Seeing people go through pain and hunger aches my heart. Some times I do wish that I could have the means to be the solution to the problems. Whoever wants to add value to the world must be ready to make sacrifices. Such sacrifices could come in many forms. The supreme form of it is sacrificing one's life to save humanity. It is not easy for one to willingly submit his life for the betterment of the world. On a personal note, my life is precious to me. I have dreams and aspirations.

The question, then, is whether I can sacrifice my life for the sake of an improved world order. It is a very difficult thing for me to do. However, I can gladly do it under certain circumstances.

Firstly, I don't believe that problems like hunger, disease, and poverty can be totally eradicated. These things have been with humanity since the start of the world. It is reported in the scriptures that people of old were mixed with the poor and the rich. Hunger goes hand in hand with poverty. This is to say that hunger has been in existence since the time of earlier generations. All I believe is that the population of people going through these challenges can be reduced by the concerted efforts of everyone, especially the privileged. This is the reason I don't believe sacrificing my life can fix the world.

Many have died in the course of entrenching justice, but after their demise, injustice is still being experienced in many places and instances.

For the sake of this prompt, I would like to go into some imagination. I will imagine that, truly, my supreme sacrifice can bring a working system for the people. Under these circumstances, I will sacrifice my life. I will even be happy to be so lucky. Nothing in this life is worth holding on to that tight. Whether now or later, we are going to die. This distance between now and then may be far in our imagination and destined reality, but to God, it is like the blink of an eye. When I think of people with whom we were together a few years ago who are no more, I come to the conclusion that nothing is in this life. Whatever the ambition is, once death comes knocking, everything ends there. My major concern is to be sure that sacrificing my life will make a positive difference. Once ascertained, I can do it for my family and for the world in general.

Just a few days ago, I read about the assassination attempt on the life of former President Donald Trump of the United States. A man at the rally that took place in Pennsylvania was reported to have sacrificed his life for the safety of his wife and daughter. When he sensed danger, he pushed the dou to the floor and shielded them with his body. He was shot and died as a result of the attack. He died so that his wife and daughter could live. I can confidently sacrifice my life in such a situation. If the danger is coming to affect the whole world and I am in a position to take the bullet to avert the danger, I will do it.

Like I stated earlier, the only reason that can make me drag feet or totally refuse to sacrifice my life is when the assurance isn't that such a sacrifice from me will make any impact. I wouldn't want to die for nothing.

Dying to save the world from hunger, poverty, and disease is worth it if one is sure of effecting the needed change through such a supreme sacrifice. Such person would never be forgotten.

I like your point, *if the death is for the general good of the people, then it will be worth it
Dying for nothing is even more painful than the death itself.

It's really worth it and at the end I hope the sacrifice don fade away and the problems comes back nice write up
