Hello everyone!
As you guys know that cooking is not everyone’s cup of tea. I used to think that I would never be a good cook until I started cooking something in real, and then some dishes became MY SIGNATURE DISHES
Every person who cooks can relate to the fact that some dishes are associated to the person who cooks them well and everyone loves to eat that dish from that particular person! Chicken macroni is one of that Signature dish of mine!
Let me share the recipe of it with you guys <3
Ingredients:
Marinated chicken 🍗
Macroni 🍝
Onion 🧅
Tomatoes 🍅
Cabbage 🥬
Carrot 🥕
Capsicum 🫑
Olives 🫒
Spices:
Black pepper 🫙
Salt 🧂
Chilli flakes 🌶️
Cumin powder 🥓
Oregano 🌿
Sauces:
Chilli galric sauce 🌶️
Oyster sauce 🥫
Soya sauce 🫙
Vinegar 🍶
Tomato ketchup 🥫
Recipe:
Now lets start the step by step cooking guide with you.
Step # 1:
Add the marinated chicken to the cooking pan and let it cook for about 15 minutes on medium to high flame, until it changes its color.
Step # 2:
While the chicken is cooking, save time and cut the vegetables side by side. I added Cabbage, Capcium and Carrot to the dish and cut them in the finely chopped julienne style.
Step # 3:
Take two tomatoes and boil them a little to soften them, now peel their skin off and use a mixer or blender to blend it and make a smooth tomato paste.
Now add this tomato paste to the chicken when the color of the chicken is changed.
Now let the chicken simmer into that tomato paste until the paste thickens a bit.
Step # 4:
After cooking the chicken into that tomato paste for 4 to 5 minutes, add the spices into the chicken mixture. The spices I used were pretty simple such that, salt a teaspoon, a teaspoon of black pepper, a half teaspoon of chilli flakes, two pinches of oregano.
Step # 5:
After the addition of spices into the chicken mixture, add the sauces in to the pan, the sauces I used included, 2 tablespoons of oyester sauce, 2 tablespoons of soya sauce, 4 tablespoons of chilli garlic sauce, a half cup of ketchup and 1 tablespoon of vinegar.
After a 2 to 3 minutes of stirring the mixture is ready.
Step # 6:
Now the next step is to add the vegetables that were cut in the beginning to the mixture, and let them cook a little bit.
The vegetables are not meant to be cooked completely because they will loose their crunchiness, so it’s better to cook them only 2 to 3 minutes and then turn off the stove. Now at this step our mixture is completely ready and combined with vegetables as well.
Step # 7:
Take another pan and add some water in it. After the water starts to boil, add the macroni in it and 2 tablespoons of oil so that the macroni does not stick with each other. Add 2 tablespoons of salt in to to give a little flavor to the macroni.
Will wait untill the macroni boils.
Step # 8:
After the macroni boils strain the boiled macroni by using a strainer.
At this point macroni is ready to be mixed with the chicken mixture we prepared earlier.
Step # 9:
Now add the boiled macroni to the mixture and give it a good mix, so that it is evenly combined with the chicken mixture. Turn the flame to zero and pet it cook for 2 minutes so that the flavours are combined thoroughly.
And there you go! You have it the yummiest plate of macroni by using simple spices and technique!
It turned out so mouthwatering and everyone loved it!
