I hope you all are doing good, today I’ll be sharing with you my most favourite recipe. My mother taught me this recipe and it always turns out to be so perfect. Lets unfold how to make “chicken bread” .
The recipe is divided into two main parts, in the forst part we will prepare the dough! While the second part is to make the filling for the dough!
Ingredients:
For dough making:
2 cups all purpose flour ⚪️
2 tablespoons of yeast 📦
A cup of oil 🛢️
A tablespoon of salt 🧂
An egg 🥚
Half a cup of milk 🥛
For chicken filling:
Chicken half kg 🍗
Olives 🫒
Capsicum 🫑
Green chilli 🌶️
Oregano 🌿
Red chilli 🌶️
Cheese 🧀
Step 1:
Dough making:
Firslty we will add all purpose flour to the pan or kneeding machine, by straining thoroughly so that no dust particle is entertained.
Then about a half a packet of yeast or two tablespoons of it are added to the flour.
You can use any brand of yeast, I used this one. ⬇️
Then a tablespoon of salt is added to the flour.
After adding salt, about a cup of oil will be added to the mixture.
Then an egg will be added to it.
Now the last thing to be added to the mixture is milk, but before adding the milk to the mixture make sure that the milk is at room temperature and if its not heat it lukewarm.
Then finally the milk will be added to the mixture.
Now its the time to kneed the dough! One can kneed it manually, but I have a kneading machine so I got it knead.
This is how the dough is knead.
Step 2:
Preparing the chicken filling.
For this step, the marinated chicken is added to the pan and cooked for 10 to 15 minutes.
Spices are added to the chicken, including red chilli powder, salt, black pepper.
Then to give it a more smokey flavor, oregano is added to it.
After cooking the cooking the chicken enough, the vegetables are added to it.
Then the cheese is shredded and added to the chicken, to give it a cheesy flavour.
After that, the chicken will be shredded a little and this is how the filling will look like when its well combined.
Step 3:
The next step is to flatten the dough and put the filling in to it.
For this step a small piece of dough is taken and flattened it, now the small cuts will be added to the edges of the flattened dough, to give it a desired shape.
After this the chicken filling will be added to the dough.
After placing the filling on the dough, the cuts of the dough are crossed to give it a croissant like shape.
This is how it will look like.
Then it will be brushed with egg, on the top to give it a cripy crust.
And some nigella seeds are spinkled on the top.
**Step 4: **
After the entire making process, the breads will be placed into the baking oven, for 40 minutes on 180 C
After 40 mintues here we have the most delicious chicken breads.
