hi everyone how are you today?? I'm sure everyone is still enthusiastic about carrying out their fasting activities. I am also to this day still passionate about fasting. ok my friends are all in the activity Today coinciding on Wednesday or the fourteenth day of the month of Ramadan I want to share with friends about the obligatory food or regular food for us in the month of Ramadan the name is KANJI, This starch is made from spices which are rich in protein to be supplied to our body after a day of fasting. and this food is cooked every day for the entire month during Ramadan as a result of community self-help and to be distributed to all village communities every day.
How to make this food is a little complicated and must have expertise on how to cook it. And of course we need to prepare in advance, The cooking area and kitchen need to be larger than usual
We also of course have to prepare the ingredients needed to taste
Ingredients:
About 40 coconuts and grated so it's easy for us to get the coconut milk
Onion red +/- 1 kg
Garlic +/- 1/5 kg
Edible oil +/- 1/5 kg
Salt +/- 1/5 kg
Halba +/- 1/7 kg
Lemongrass +/- 1/4 kg
Five stars, Kapongan, cinnamon, and pandan leaves to taste.
Ground spices approx 10kg
Rice +/- 15kg
All the ingredients above are mixed together in one container that has been prepared.
Put the shallots and garlic into the hot oil to fry first then put all the spices that have been prepared into the hot oil with the onions.
Then put all the ground spices together with the rice and add enough water, in one container this can hold about a thousand servings at a time.
Don't forget to add enough shrimp to add to the super extraordinary taste and to add fragrance to the cooking and the fire is ready to be made big so it boils quickly.
Preparing firewood for the next month
And now the food is cooked and ready to be shared with all the people who come to pick it up and take it home as a complement to the dish for breaking the fast with family.
Those are some ways to cook Kanji special dishes for breaking the fast in the month of Ramadan and are carried out from generation to generation from year to year until now these customs are still valid in our place and this is also togetherness between residents and for community unity, Happy fasting for Muslims.
All right, friends, get here first with us and wait for my next views, which are definitely even more interesting.and all the pictures above I took myself using my personal cellphone Samsung A022f and I used Indonesian which was translated by Google.
