One Career Makes Stability Easy

Going from one career to another can be fun and a way to explore other options and grow one's experience. While this can be interesting to try, it also comes with lots of challenges. Personally I will prefer sticking to one and channeling all the energy to that particular one. With this, there is a great chance of growing that career to any height an individual wants to.

Apart from that, as humans, we have to consider our health in whatever we do. Trying to balance multiple careers can make us feel industrious but the end effect wouldn't be good because it will affect our health both mentally and physically.

Trying to grow multiple careers can leave one mentally drained. Thinking of this, this and this, will not just leave one feeling tired but lots of thoughts on how to grow the businesses and make them stand out. All these when results are not seen can leave one feeling disappointed and depressed.

In the former place I lived, one of the tenants was nicknamed “Jack of all trades" because of many things he does, which made him tag himself a hustler. He had seven kids and his wife is the kind that prefers sitting at home with a claim she is playing her mother role of taking and looking after the kids.

This man can do five different businesses within two months. He used to be a broadcaster but suddenly quit the job claiming that what he was paid in private stations couldn't sustain him as a family man. He left to sell gadgets.

After three months, the same man claimed the gadgets weren't giving him the money he needed, so he employed a sales boy and entered teaching. I was surprised the day I saw him on white shirt and black trousers. I was left to ask him between being a teacher and q broadcaster which pays the most and he responded that teaching gives him time to do other things unlike the other work.

The stress of trying to do all these could be seen. It was difficult to tell if it was due to him being a family man or the different multiple job choices. Is either he is receiving phone calls during lesson hours trying to respond to customers inquiries. Then at night when he should be writing, he's writing lesson notes.

With his different career choices, it was still difficult to show the results of what these efforts have yielded. If in the aspect of the gadget business, he was fully present to attend to his customers, without divided attention, the growth would have been seen but he's always complaining of losses, attributing that to his sales boy lavishing his money which if he was to stick to one business would have been present to know and manage everything as supposed.

Sticking to one path can lead to growth and improvement. If he had remained in the radio station, or remained firmly to his gadgets, he would have grown more in that line of business.

When we do too much, we begin to experience imbalance in everything. When balance is lagging, our health suffers greatly which makes sticking to one easier because with one, we can manage our time, other things that follow it and our resources too.

The biggest thing with any career is finding one that is fun!

I totally agree with you.
It's difficult to keep up if one has a hand in different things and it's definitely a healthy person that will enjoy the fruits of his labor.

Hi dear @stellageorge. I'm glad we share same opinion. Health is wealth we often hear. It can be fun to explore and make more money but it's disadvantage to health shouldn't be ignored.

You're absolutely right.

You are right about sticking to a singer career, but I still prefer multiple careers because it's better than a single career.

Yeah, I clearly understand the angle you are speaking from. It's all bounce to how we earn and our choices.
