Friendship is a very important thing in anyone's life. Who doesn't have a friendship, that person who, come rain or shine, will be there with you to help you move forward or simply to enjoy each other's company. Friendships complement who we are, help us build our life story and, of course, do what it takes to see us well, regardless of whether we agree with it or not.
For good times and bad, you always need people by your side to advise you, help you, give you a scolding when necessary and show you some opportunities. We can make our own decisions on our own, but having someone to present a point of view from a different perspective can do us a lot of good, even if we can't see it. Lucky for those who are open-minded enough to accept advice and realize that some choices can be changed with a friendly word.
You know that pressure they put on you to make a certain choice in life? Sometimes you're not even that excited, but a friend realizes that it will be good for you and insists that you react and make an assertive decision? That's often what we need.
There was a time when a friend told me about cryptocurrencies, back in 2019. I didn't know anything about it, but for him it was extraordinary and a good opportunity. Of course, he told me about the risks, shared what he knew and I found it interesting, but it seemed too complex for me to understand. I didn't pursue the matter. However, whenever he found a loophole, he talked about it again. Up to a point, it was acceptable, but then it started to get boring. He realized this and stopped talking about the damn cryptocurrencies, at least for a while.
However, I always heard one news item or another on the subject and, over time, my curiosity grew. At one point in my life, during the pandemic, two years after he had been talking to me and insisting on it all this time, I decided to learn more about this universe. I did my own research and, as one thing leads to another, I ended up learning about play-to-earn games. This friend of mine had already been involved for a few months and was happy when I told him that I was finally researching the subject and that I was interested in these games that paid people to play. He warned me to be careful because, as he had told me before, you can only invest what you can afford to lose, but with caution, it was still a good opportunity and a way to get more involved in this universe.
Well, after getting to know a few games, he told me about one called Splinterlands. He didn't play it, but he knew I liked TCGs and thought it might be interesting for me. As I said before, one thing leads to another, and through Splinterlands I got to know Blockchain Hive. And here I am, writing part of this story in the place I met almost four years ago. For me, getting here has been spectacular. It's my second home, a place where I like to be, discover things, analyze endless opportunities, make friends, etc. But I might never have been here if that friend of mine hadn't put a certain amount of pressure on something he saw as a potential breakthrough. Since he believed it was a good thing, he didn't hold back until I embarked on it with him.
Sometimes friendship is exactly that: having a bit of persistence and putting the necessary pressure on so that those you love can enjoy good things with you. Without selfishness, without the ambition to do and want everything alone, because when we share the good things with others, we thrive together. I'm immensely grateful for this discovery, if it hadn't been for that initial push, I would never have made it this far!

Amizade é algo muito importante na vida de qualquer pessoa. Quem não possui uma amizade, aquela pessoa que, faça chuva ou faça sol, estará ali com você para ajudar a seguir em frente ou simplesmente para ter a boa e simples companhia um do outro. Amizades complementam quem somos, nos ajudam a construir nossa história de vida e, claro, fazem o necessário para nos ver bem, independentemente de concordarmos com isso ou não.
Para os bons e maus momentos, é sempre necessário ter pessoas ao seu lado para aconselhar, ajudar , dar uma bronca quando necessário e mostrar algumas oportunidades. Conseguimos tomar nossas próprias decisões sozinhos, mas ter alguém para apresentar um ponto de vista sob uma perspectiva diferente pode fazer muito bem para a gente, mesmo que não consigamos enxergar isso. Sorte de quem tem a mente aberta para aceitar conselhos e perceber que algumas escolhas podem ser mudadas a partir de uma palavra amiga.
Sabe aquela pressão que colocam sobre uma determinada escolha na sua vida? Às vezes, você nem está tão animado, mas um amigo percebe que aquilo será bom para você e insiste para que você reaja e tome uma decisão assertiva? Muitas vezes, é disso que precisamos.
Houve uma vez em que um amigo me falou sobre criptomoedas, isso foi em 2019. Eu não entendia nada sobre o assunto, mas para ele aquilo era extraordinário e uma oportunidade boa. Claro, ele me falou sobre os riscos, compartilhou o que sabia e achei interessante, mas parecia complexo demais para o meu entendimento. Não dei continuidade ao assunto. Porém, sempre que ele encontrava uma brecha, falava sobre aquilo de novo. Até certo ponto, estava aceitável, mas depois começou a ficar chato. Ele percebeu isso e parou de falar sobre as malditas criptomoedas, pelo mesmo por um tempo.
Porém, eu sempre ouvia uma notícia ou outra sobre o tema e, com o tempo, minha curiosidade falou mais alto. Em um momento da minha vida, durante a pandemia, dois anos depois de ele ter falado e insistido comigo durante todo esse tempo, resolvi conhecer mais sobre esse universo. Fiz minhas próprias pesquisas e, como uma coisa leva a outra, acabei conhecendo também os jogos play to earn. Esse meu amigo já estava envolvido nisso há alguns meses e ficou feliz quando eu disse que finalmente estava pesquisando sobre o assunto e que estava interessado nesses jogos que pagavam as pessoas para jogar. Ele me alertou para tomar cuidado, pois, como já havia me falado antes, só podemos investir nisso aquilo que podemos perder, mas que, com cautela, não deixava de ser uma boa oportunidade e uma forma de engajar mais nesse universo.
Bem, depois de conhecer alguns jogos, ele me contou sobre um chamado Splinterlands. Ele não jogava, mas sabia que eu gostava de TCG e achou que poderia ser interessante para mim. Como disse antes, uma coisa leva a outra, e através de Splinterlands conheci a Blockchain Hive. E aqui estou, escrevendo uma parte dessa história no lugar que conheci a quase quatro anos atrás. Para mim, chegar até aqui foi espetacular. É a minha segunda casa, um lugar onde gosto de estar, descobrir coisas, analisar infinitas oportunidades, fazer amizades, etc. Mas talvez eu nunca estivesse aqui se esse meu amigo não tivesse colocado uma certa pressão sobre algo que ele via como uma descoberta em potencial. Como ele acreditava ser algo bom, não ficou quieto até que eu embarcasse nessa com ele.
Às vezes, a amizade é exatamente isso: ter um pouco de persistência e colocar uma pressão necessária para que aqueles que você ama possam usufruir de coisas boas com você. Sem egoísmo, sem a ambição de fazer e querer tudo sozinho, pois, quando compartilhamos as coisas boas com os outros, prosperamos juntos. Sou imensamente grato por essa descoberta, se não fosse aquele empurrãozinho inicial, eu nunca chegaria até aqui!
