The World And Technology In 2050 and Beyound

in #hive-15385029 days ago

The society of today is fashioned in such a way that the competitiveness in different spheres encourages technology to spring high. A decade ago, no one would have thought about some of the development that we are currently experiencing in the different sectors of life. There is every likelihood that in 2050, technology would have advanced that what it is now.

Some of the advancement that are likely to occur in technology in the year 2050 and beyond are as follows.

Augment and Virtual Reality

Banking, education, gaming, healthcare and communication are most likely to experience a breakthrough such that the need to employ humans will be reduced or eradicated.

You will bear with me that in most banks currently, there is a reduction in the number of human workers that are employed. Same for some schools that have employed computerized gadgets that could be used to teach learners.

Some 30 years ago, communication was analog and humans have had to go through a lot of processes before a call can be made but today, the reverse is the case.

One disadvantage that this may bring is that a lot of people are likely to become jobless because they will be replaced with robots.
I think learning will be more fun. Professional teachers would.have to be retrained on how to handle and use the gadgets at their disposal to impact knowledge.

Biotechnological Breakthroughs

I read a post about Elon Musk that has made improvements in the area of medicine. In the article, a robot has been designed to carry a pregnancy for 9 months for women who may want to go working instead of being tired down with pregnancy.
The only condition is that the man and woman would have to combine their sperm and eggs for fertilization in a process.

Quantum Computing

Word and figure problems would be on the verge of being solved within a space of time in the year 2050. This will vitalise cyber security. This could also be an opportunity for software engineers to be in high demand. Data analyst could also be one of the highest paid job around the globe.
People will now begin to learn new skills to become employable. This is because the Y2K compliant indices would have improved at a large extent.
There is also a likelihood for a breakthrough in producing faster computers.

Computerized Farming & Improved Seedling

A lot is already happening in the agricultural sector but in the coming years, there is going to be more improvements as there will be more discoveries in machines that will expedite the process of planting and harvesting crops. Also seeds will greatly be improved such that new breeds will storm the market places.

Military Wares

The war between Hamas, Hezbollah and Israel has shown that the bio-nuclear war has just begun. Israel on the one hand has installed shields against metals in their airspace, preventing military drones from dropping missiles on the Israel communities.
Notably, Hezbollah has confirmed recently that it has been able to break the shields while Israel counts losses. In the coming years, all blocs will be making research to get prepared for any war or defense.

The Disadvantages

One big problem that may be seen in 2050 is that people will become more lazy the more. Already, we are having a lazy generation of people who want to do the simplest of jobs, thereby neglecting jobs like farming.

I foresee that there will likely be a scarcity of food and the little food produced will be very expensive. This is owing to the fact that technology will drive the economy and labour market, making humans pursue training in skills to meet up with demands for taking up job opportunities provided by technological advancement.

Also, through technological advancement, people's privacy is most likely going to be in the public eye as hackers and smart gadgets will be everywhere, and people will take the advantage of the loopholes to carry out nefarious activities.

Sort:

Computerized farming is something I look forward to as well; it gonna be fewer humans on the field, and I pray humanity isn't wiped off because I won't be happy if it happens.

Food scarcity looms as a result of this. People will become very lazy but would want to earn more by using their phones and computers.

Yeah!! But then not everyone knows how to use their phone and computers.

AI will definitely be in another form, technology will be at its peak come year 2050

Very true.
The world should just be ready for an explosion
