Being a teacher is not an easy task cause I have had an experience when I taught catechism in church. Most times, I would come back very tired, though its not relatable to being a teacher .
As a scholar, I have met teachers of all kinds with different personalities, right from my nursery to secondary level. So if I'm to grade my teachers according to my best and worst, I would love to start with the best.
Talking of my best teacher, I would say that it was Mrs Iwuchukwu , my English teacher in my junior secondary. She is a teacher that should be emulated by all that call themselves teachers. She would carry all the students along and would test our spelling capacity each time she came to class.
I could read not only English but Igbo anywhere I find myself in confidently, because of how she taught us. She also helped me develop my vocabulary and reading accuracy. I also love how she teach with passion. I will ever remain grateful to her for all her effort. I rate her 95%.
Talking of the reverse, my worst teacher till tomorrow would remain Mr Brendan, my financial accounting teacher in my senior secondary school one(ss1). The man was never serious with his classes. He can't explain his thoughts correctly and he's not good in calculating math. He never conducts class exercises. And that's why I don't know much ( if not anything)about Financial account.Well I thank God I only offered it in my ss1.I rate him 10%.
But nonetheless, teachers, both the worst and best ones amongst them should be acknowledged and respected. I thank all the teachers that have taught me till now and I pray for God's blessings on them.
