Welcome Back To My Space!

Hello beautiful people! Welcome to my blog! I want to say that I appreciate every moment you spend here reading and engaging with my post. Thank you very much.

If you have been following me for some time, it is possible that you already know that I have been participating in the Newbies Initiative put together by @starstrings01 and his wonderful team of tutors in the Hive Learners Community. It has been an amazing time of learning and implementing to enhance my Hive experience.

In this post, I will be responding to the task questions given for Week 6 tutorial which was handled by @olujay. So, below are the Task 6 questions and my answers.

List out tools that you know that can be used to track and monitor information about your Hive account. Tell us about them and what they are used for.

The following are the tools used for tracking and monitoring information about my Hive account.

  1. HiveBuzz: This is a tool developed by @arcange, and it gives updates on someone's progress on Hive especially as milestones are achieved. This updates from HiveBuzz are given as comments in the hivers latest post once a specific milestone is reached. It also awards badges for activities, events and milestones. You can also access this tool by visiting hivebuzz.me/username, of course inserting your own username in the appropriate space.

  2. Hivestats: This is an analytical tool that shows a breakdown of everything related to a Hive user, ranging HP, daily rewards, weekly rewards, followers, reputation etc. It gives a summary of the Hiver's information. You can check it out by visiting https://hivestats.io

  3. Hivetasks: This is another analytical tool that helps us track an monitor our progress and activities on Hive.

Check out your profile information on Hivestats and explain the different stats shown about your account on the site.

From the above screenshot, you can see my effective HP and HP. The difference is that I made a 100HP delegation, and so my influence on my voting is just based on the 400+HP that is my Effective HP.

It also shows that currently I don't have any HP delegated to me from any account, and that I delegated some HP to another account.

It also shows the value of my vote at the point of analysis, and also the percentage of my upvoting power remaining.

The post count shows about 2448 but from my understanding this includes posts, comments and replies altogether.

  1. Find the lazy-panda curation trail and follow it. Customise the trail according to weight, method, and wait time as desired. If you choose, enable the trail and share screenshots on the process.

Here are screenshots from my visit to hivevote.io to find and follow lazy-panda curation trail.

I had to use my hivesigner to be able to proceed.

There are so many things to do but I am here to find a curation trail to follow.

I entered lazy-panda in the space and then clicked on search button.

After following the lazy-panda curation trail, I decided to customise it as desired and enable. 👇

Configure and set up F.R.I.D.A.Y. to give you notifications. Provide a step-by-step explanation with screenshots

First of all, to use F.R.I.D.A.Y. you have to be in the bot's discord server. Here is an invite link you can use to get access.

https://discord.com/invite/bG7pgpR3

Once inside the Discord server, go to the general channel and send /register as a message. The follow the steps as shown below:

After successful registration, the next thing is to use /settings command to be able to set your notification preferences.

You will receive a prompt as shown below, and clicking it will take you to the website where you can choose what you want to be notified about.

Before I end this post, I want express my sincere appreciation to my partner of the week, @josephallu. We had connected on discord but agreed to take our communication to WhatsApp. Despite his very busy schedule, he tries as much as possible to check on me and respond to my messages.

Thank you so much for reading my post to this point. I am looking forward to hear what you think in the comments. Did you learn a thing or two, or do you feel I made an omission somewhere? I will be glad to hear it.

The thumbnail used in this post was designed by me in Canva, while the screenshots were taken from the different sites and applications I visited while developing this post.

Thank you once again.
