Everyone loves holidays and I’m no exception. I love what I do but I do need a break also. Even God rested on the 7th day.🤭
For the past two weeks, @fashtioluwa has been asking me every blessed day when my holidays would begin. The truth is, I didn’t really know cos my life is all about work and stuff. The initial plan was to have my holidays starting around the 20th of the month but apparently, I had some traveling to do which I had to negotiate my way out of.
God being so good, I managed to get away with the trip and finally today, my holidays begin. Yay! I don’t celebrate Christmas, but if you give me chicken leg, I would gladly accept it.😂 I had a few plans for the holidays which included going home to see my family , hanging out with a few friends and any other thing that came up.
The whole of yesterday , I was in my room doing God knows what. Today, work found its way to me and I’ve been up all day sitting on my ass working. Ha! But, it’s too early to tell I guess. During the weekend specifically on Saturday , I had so much fun as I finally stepped out to hang out with some friends. It was more of a hangout something and we literally spent the whole day together chatting and laughing. It was a good day but being the homebody that I am, I needed a whole day to recover from all of that and so, my Sunday was for that.😂
Today is more like a work day for me and I hope the rest of the week wouldn’t be the same. Regardless, I’m getting a few extra hours of sleep time and what more could I ask for. For seeing my family, they might probably have to come see me here or I’d just have to push it to the new year cos that works best for me and the funny part of all this is that, even if I had the chance to go see them, I wouldn’t be able to cos all the buses are booked up until next week. In the coming days, I’m sure my friends would come up with stuff to get me out of the room and I’m totally down for it. After all, all work and no play makes Nhaji a dull girl.
But, as far as my eyes can see, my holidays would probably be full of work, hangouts here and there and so much food which I’m expecting from @fashtioluwa and @merit.ahama. Remember to send the chicken thigh my wayyyy!🤭 So far, I’d say everything is running smoothly for me since this is my first day of the holidays. Hopefully, I’d have a lot of activities to keep me engaged in the coming days and maybe weeks until I finally decide that my holidays are over.
